I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction and moral disappointment with the treatment I received at Autozone #5413 in Canyon Hills on 4/21/2025. The experience involved Assistant Manager Katelyn Olson and her manager, Eduardo Garcia, and it has left me feeling disrespected, unheard, and completely devalued as a long-time customer.
I visited the store to process a warranty exchange for a thermostat and fan switch, both of which were purchased on the same date in 2019. While Ms. Olson accepted the fan switch for return, she inexplicably refused to honor the warranty on the thermostatāeven though both items were purchased together and fell under the same warranty terms. She claimed that the thermostat I brought in was not the correct part and accused me of trying to return a different item. I explained that this was the exact part recently removed from my vehicle and noted that manufacturers often change part designs over time.
Rather than listen, Ms. Olson told me I was āundermining her authority,ā even though I remained respectful and simply tried to help her understand my situation. When I requested to speak with her manager, Eduardo Garcia, he refused to come out and speak to me directly. Instead, he told Ms. Olson not to process the warranty return and dismissed the issue entirely without hearing me out. This level of disregard from management is unprofessional and completely unacceptable.
Feeling frustrated and disrespected, I drove to another AutoZone location 10 minutes away on Mission Trail. There, the representative processed the thermostat return with no issue and even confirmedāironicallyāthat āmanufacturers do sometimes change how parts are made,ā exactly the point I had tried to explain earlier.
This experience has made it clear that I am not welcome or valued at Autozone #5413. I now feel uncomfortable returning there, as I believe I will continue to be treated with the same hostility and dismissiveness. That an assistant manager would belittle a customer, and that her superior would actively avoid resolving the situation, is disappointing beyond words.
I respectfully ask that this matter be reviewed, and I would appreciate a response outlining the steps AutoZone will take to address this situation and ensure no other customer is treated in this...

I came out with a bitter taste in my mouth realizing that the staff is dishonest and tries to take advantage of unsuspecting customers. He added a pouch of silicone greese to my order without my permission and as I started to leave he handed me the pouch and said to take it with me in case I might need it. I thought since he handed me the pouch so late may be he was throwing it as a bonus, when I looked at my receipt he had charged me $1.99 without me asking for it. I went back and asked the gentleman to return that pouch of silicone greese since I didn't and ask for it and didn't need it. To my surprise he said he wouldn't return it. He got into a heated argument with me at that time another cashier jumped in and returned that item to my credit card. Bottom line. This store is a perfect epitome of BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. Our truck was suddenly over heating as we started our hour drive home We accidentally pulled into the Autozone parking lot as we were trying to get to the Chevron gas station. At AutoZone my husband explained what our car was doing and a quick diagnostic test was performed It was suggested that we add coolant to the truck. Once my husband began to add the coolant we quickly realized we had a problem as it all leaked out the bottom. Raymond noticed where it was leaking and Jared came out and found the torn hose. They immediately brought out a part to fix and clamp the hose. They filled the car with coolant and made sure it was working properly before we headed out. They were very knowledgable and provided excellent customer service. We were very thankful for their help this evening as we were able to make it...
