Hills Donut — Restaurant in Lake Elsinore

I work in the medical field and have been ordering dozens of donuts from this shop to bring to the office. My co-workers wanted Krispy Kreme but i really believe in supporting local mom and pop shop and wanted to give them a try. I ordered 3 dozens this morning and decided to return in the evening with my family. After ordering some drinks, I overheard the owners speaking amongst each other. Not thinking I understood the language (Khmer) They proceeded to call my kids fat while laughing and shamed their mother for allowing them to drink sweets (boba). They continued to say "I would never allow my kids to drink sweets and get that fat" I was in shock, in disbelief and couldnt believe what i was hearing. Pls do not assume we dont understand your language just because we dont look asian. Body shaming and criticizing someone else's parenting skills when we are trying to support your business is not ok. Shame on you and your establishment for running your business like this. This has been a traumatizing experience for me and my family, especially our kids. Decent place for donuts and boba, especially since it's local. I tried their Milk Tea with popping boba (they ran out of tapioca pearls), I didn't have much expectations but it was surprisingly good. Really helped with my boba cravings!

Their donuts are decent as well. They have a huge selection I had a hard time choosing what I wanted so I ended up getting 2 dozen 🤣

It’s so nice that they are close to the handicap parking as well, my husband is a disabled army veteran and has lots of trouble with his back but he was able to have the comfort of up-close parking.
