Five Below — Local services in Lake Forest

Went to the store on 11/1/24 around 10am or so. They had a Halloween table with a sign 50% off. I got a couple of items but did ask when I was to check out if they were on sale because they were ringing up regular price and the lady inflating balloons at front asked a younger lady with blonde shoulder length hair if they were part of clearance because there was a sign. She then went to check and came back and said it's only the masks (she looked annoyed). Apparently the sign had smaller writing but tbh I just read bigger letters. Instead of her removing those items from that table with sign she left there. I would not shop in that store...

My kids and I are in love with this Five Below location. It's spacious and clean. The staff is nice and always greet us at the door and help us scan and check out. The prices are decent and the selection is actually quite unique.

There are some gems here. My little one loved the Mini Food Brand box. I love the pet toys and the incense selection. My other kid love the tech stuff here.

I like the inexpensive art supplies. What I don't like is that they have self-service checkouts, and I have never managed to check out successfully. I have worked in retail so you would think I could do it. The employees do come over and help you, but I wish they would either fix the self-service checkouts or actually just have the employee at the checkstand...
