The phrase: "Tried one, tried 'em all" DOES NOT apply to anything about Crumbl. I find myself pleasantly surprised with every aspect of this company each time I visit. If something lacks in one area, there's another one that makes up for it. Ive been to every store in the OC area. I was very impressed with the Orange location and how the staff all hustle back and forth around the kitchen and delivering each box to the line of curbside vehicles. Its much busier there.
Brea, well... That was my very first experience and will always be known as "my first". San Clemente, lets just say, "ew"....still have no idea what rancid funk was rotting in that store. It smelled of sour milk and sweaty gym socks. Pass! RSM, well, thats complicated. It was not Crumbl's fault, it was DoorDash being shady. The manager at RSM came through and replaced my order. She was very kind and I was greatful for her help.
Finally made it to Lake Forest tonight, (December 4th 2021) and was so glad we decided to eat dinner before we picked up our cookies. Had we just gone home like we originally planned, my husband would not have been there to pull the almost pantsless crazy man off the car window of a young girl and all her friends. Anyone that was there tonight would understand how ugly it would have gotten for these poor girls. It happened SOFA KING fast!!(Crumbl was NOT involved). My husband got to wear his "super dad cape" and play the hero. I was SO grateful we were there. We called the police and hopefully they found that crazy man. Regardless, Lake Forest gets my vote for the Top OC store. I love the location. Inside the store, there were a lot of staff. They were all doing their job, yet managed to have fun at the same time. It truly sets the tone for the whole experience. Some may say it's unprofessional to be laughing and having fun while interacting with co-workers during a shift. If only everyone had THAT much fun at work.
By the way, has anyone else noticed that Cookie Monster St. is 2 blocks away from this store?!?! Was that planned?...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCrumbl really gets their cookies right. Everything Iāve tried is unique, delicious and worth the drive there. Where Crumbl fails is their customer service⦠it is so hit or miss. Iāve been there multiple times (every time not busy and no line) and the staff just look at me like Iām the biggest inconvenience⦠and maybe I am, maybe itās me!?? But I doubt it. Pretty sure this is a Crumbl problem and not a Me problem. Iāll need to try another location out to test this problem. In the meantime, Iād go back for the cookies, not the service.
Update! 5/2022: stopped by after dinner to grab two cookies. Was told it was a 4 cookie minimum. When I asked why they told me theyād ran out of boxes⦠like is this real life? Minus yet another star. Like i said earlier, customer service failure. Iāve given them one to many chances. The 5 star reviews are fake. Donāt...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreEdit: the service has improved by miles. Great job all.
The service here does not make up for the cookies. The cookies are pretty great but of the many times I've been here, the staff is terrible. It seems it's staffed only be highschoolers that dismissively wave you to the terminals and greet you about 50% of the time. If you go to the counter they pretty much always say "you can just order on the terminal" and go back to talking amongst themselves when you have a question about something. In addition, if they don't have a certain box size, you're out of luck, order the size larger or smaller or get nothing. You're legitimately telling me I can't order 2 cookies and just have them put in a 4 box because you are out of single boxes?...
