We LOVE this Place! We decided to do business here a few weeks ago because of KENNA who was genuinely kind, sweet yet professional & very welcoming. Their appraiser LAUREN, whom we had the pleasure of working with, was also very nice and SUPER Knowledgeable. Lauren provided us with Quality Service, transparency & kindness. She exceeded our expectations. They handled our pieces with such care. We also met one of the owners who was very kind and exuded JOY! He wanted to make sure our experience was nothing less than memorable, which truly enhanced our experience. Not once did we feel judged or uncomfortable. TRUE GENUINE CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ITS FINEST. They also have beautiful unique pieces displayed, which several were created by their in-house custom jewelry maker (ARTIST). We were very pleased with their transparency & how they choose to appraise your jewelry. For comfort, they do about 95% of the appraisal process right in front of you which is, what we prefer, as you sit comfortably at a table with them while they research, take measurements ect. When they did have to test the gold or use their microscope they went into a glass room that they call their "Fish Bowl" with LARGE windows where you are encouraged to comfortably watch them handle your pieces & can see everything. You can also see the artist as he creates their custom pieces. WE LOVED THAT! Having that feature in their store eased all of our worries since we had a negative past experience elsewhere which made us very protective of our pieces & they were very understanding, they didn't take offense & were non-judgemental of our concerns & let us know we could watch everything through the glass if we chose to. They were actually happy to show us & encouraged us to watch through their Fishbowl where 3-4 people could easily & comfortably watch. I would give Casa Leon Jewelers 100 stars if I could! I can't say enough about this place. I was searching for an engagement ring. I had gone to Kay, Jared, Zales, Helzburgs and a few other privately owned jewelers in the area as well. The moment I walked in to Casa Leon I was greeted by Colleen who soon became my hero! She is patient, fun and knowledgable. I was showing photos to the other jewelers of what I wanted, and none of them were able to achieve what I wanted. Colleen was ON IT right away and gave me all sorts of options that reflected my desired look. The ring selection at Casa Leon and EXCEPTIONAL compared to all the other places I've looked. The rings are extremely high quality and there's something beautiful and unique about each ring they have in their cases. They have classic designs, but nothing is "basic" and cookie cutter like you would find in other stores. I wanted a custom ring. I took 2 of my favorite rings in the case, told Colleen which elements of each that I loved and we meshed it into one ring. Colleen had taken down all the notes and comments I made about what I wanted. I gave my boyfriend Casa Leon's contact information. All my boyfriend had to do was go in, sign the paperwork and pay for the ring! They offered him alcohol (LOL) and whatever else he needed to feel comfortable. He also had a great experience working with them. When I received the ring, it was absolutely perfect. Again, impeccable quality. I was able to go back to Casa Leon and get it resized for free a few days after the engagement. Even after the proposal Colleen has been available to answer all my questions! They also gave us a little goodie bag with a candle, jewelry cleaning kit, chocolates and a travel jewelry holder. The jewelry here is outstanding but the employees are truly exceptional. Was in the shopping plaza and out of convenience went in to ask if they can remove 2 links from my watch. They charged $15.00 plus tax to remove the 2 links. I did not have a problem with the sales tax just the $15.00. I thought that was rather expensive for an action that took only a couple of minutes to adjust. Jewelers that I have gone in the past in the areas only charge between $8.00- $10.00 to remove watch links. If they charge $15.00 to remove only 2 watch links I would expect their jewelry pieces would be overpriced as well. I know that prices have gone up everywhere in the last couple of years, but some prices on services are excessive. Next time I'll just go to the Seminole Town Center if I need any more watches adjusted, or if I want to buy any jewelry. I am sure to get more value for my buck at the mall. To the merchant owner's response it doesn't matter if I addressed the $15.00 price with you or not that is how much you charge customers for that service. Like I expressed before I didn't have a problem with sales tax. I don't expect you not to charge the 7% sales tax. Your base prices are higher than other jewelers in the area that do the same service. Again I went to your store as a matter of convenience because I was already in that shopping plaza. I just know now that your prices are higher than other jewelers so if I want to get more value for my money I need to go to another jeweler. It is that simple and the honest truth.
