My issues are not relating to the food as it is fairly typical Greek. My only "food" issue is that if a customer orders a Greek Salad (online), and deletes at least 75% of the items for the salad (due to allergies), then they should increase the quantities of what has been ordered, but they don't. My actual complaint relates to the management of this establishment, and also customers placing orders and paying online, and being told when to pick their to-go orders up. I ordered and paid for my to-go order for lunch yesterday, and arrived at the time stated on the email I received. It said 11:30am, but wasn't ready until 12:25pm. That didn't disrupt my life so much as I'm retired, but OMG, the number of angry customers waiting for their orders was unreal. This is totally a management issue, NOT a staff issue, because the two fellows were working frantically to complete orders in the front area where everyone was waiting for their food orders. Knowing that this restaurant is popular, why wouldn't the management have additional staff to help reduce the massive backup of orders, and delays for the customers? I arrived on time, and there were I think 5 people already waiting for their orders. After about 20 minutes, the lady in front of me took out her cell phone and cancelled her order and left. I called out to one of the staff to make sure they knew that they should not prepare her order. Other customers were obviously on their lunch breaks with a limited time slot to get their food orders. One lady in medical scrubs was really frustrated (for good reason), along with by then another five people waiting for their orders. There were only two in-house dining tables that were occupied, FYI. The growing frustration (and anger) of the customers waiting for their severely delayed orders was very obvious. I felt sorry for the two workers frantically trying to prepare, box, and bag the to-go foods, as there was no way they could have worked any faster. The management needs to add additional staffing, otherwise they will be losing lunch-time customers as most people have at best one hour for their lunch breaks, and it simply isn't possible with the staffing they presently have. The management also needs to communicate with the software company that is I think called "Spoton.com" regarding when their computer notifies the customer (that paid online) that their order will be (viably) ready. As I just leaned against the wall for about 45 minutes past when my order was stated to have been ready, versus when it was actually ready. I felt very sorry for all of the other people that were still waiting for their to-go orders, and the odds are that many of them had to head back to work without having eaten at all. I hope these managerial issues can be resolved, as it's a great little restaurant, but there are two other very good Greek restaurants in Lake Mary as well, so please try to work through your present issues. Based on the Google review that was made after mine yesterday afternoon, I would like to add that where I was standing (leaning against a counter on the right side where you enter), the floor was so sticky that my gym shoes kept sticking to the floor. And the lady in front of me (that finally got so exasperated that she went on her cell phone and cancelled her order, complained about her shoes sticking to the floor also. So I believe the person that made a post after mine regarding hygiene and cleanliness issues that need to be addressed by the management. It can either succeed or fail in the coming weeks or months, but all of these issues must be addressed by...
Read moreI was so use to great customer service and great food until today. My food order was wrong and we had to return three times for correct food and it was still wrong. I ordered a salad with chicken skewers and then changed my mind and ordered the dinner instead since it comes with rice and a salad. They charged me for both instead of changing the order. I thought no big deal I will just eat the salad tomorrow for lunch. When I opened the bag there was only chicken for the dinner and no chicken skewers for the salad. No pita bread was in the bag and the salad with the dinner was missing items from the salad (no potato salad, no onions, etc.). I am so disappointed with my conversation with the manager who told me I was trying to take advantage of “minor human errors” they made to my food. The accusations and incorrect comments made by the manager about my child who continued to return for the correct food I purchased is unacceptable. I have never seen the manager or the person who took the order before today. I will NEVER return, and to the owner since your manager likes to blame the customer for being unhappy for multiple mishaps, I would...
Read moreI’ve been going to Little Greek in(Lake Mary) for several years. We eat there probably 3-4 times a month. Last night I placed our order to go and my son went to pick it up for me. When he got home, there was a Gyro and some salad dressing missing. I immediately called and spoke to the manager. She found my order, apologized and offered to fix it immediately. Most places will have YOU drive all the way back and get your food. Sometimes they’ll even give you attitude when you tell them, you don’t want to drive all the way back and ask for a credit instead. Not only did she immediately fix the problem, but she actually brought it to our home Within about 15 minutes of the phone call. I’ve never experienced this type of service at ANY restaurant that I have visited. When she showed up at my home, not only had she brought the missing food and dressing, but she had also included three Desserts Absolutely free. She went above and beyond on a busy Saturday night. To the manager, I say if you are reading this, thank you for doing what you did and please know that it was incredibly...
