Winn-Dixie — Local services in Lake Mary

Horrible Customer service 😔. Stopped by to pkup 4items... Publix is my preference. Another customer and I had to help each other find an item, no assoc in site. Then the same cx and myself are in same chkout line (only one open, 4 ppl waiting). Cx 1 has issue no funds he leaves, the cashier (elderly) is literally waiting for him to return with addl funds 🤦🏾. While at same time yet another cx has issues at self chkout, no one avail to assist🤷🏽. I then go to CxSvc to inquire if another register can b opened... Krissy SNAPPED AT ME "I HV TO DO OVERRIDE" no I'll b with u in min, apology Nothing... Really. I also ask for mgr, Krissy totally ignored my request. She did come to register to assist cashier Lucy... Never again, my neighbor mentioned prior that "The New Winn Dixie has very rude employees" Well I have experienced n will NOT b back Again... And to think, I was considering changing my shopping store to support family whom have worked for the warehouse over 17yrs and counting.. I recently retired and moved to Florida, state I lived in doesn't hv Winn Dixie... I see why now Below standards... Plz send ur Associates to customer service training... Advice from retired federal employee Human...

They NEVER EVER have anything! It is a smaller location but I mean they are always out of everything I need. And they do not carry parsley flakes AT ALL. I've given this location like 10 tries and I'm always disappointed. The only thing that's nice is it's a little cleaner than other locations but that's also because it's newer. I finally walked out without my cart once I saw they were out of broccoli and a bunch of other normal stuff in produce. The employees aren't friendly. The other day I had to go to customer service because they only had ONE cashier working a register and her light was off so she wouldn't take anyone else but self checkout was all lined up with customers. I've tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and try over and over again but they are just not good. And I worked at a Winn Dixie for 3 years so I know what I'm talking about. Maybe instead of having a BAR (like with alcohol) that nobody goes to, focus on making your location better and actually STOCK ITEMS and have your employees cheer up so it's not so depressing there. I just have to give a huge shoutout to Daniel and the amazing team at Winn-Dixie! My family flew in from out of town, and we ended up arriving at the store just 10 minutes before closing. Most places would have already locked the doors or rushed us out, but not this store.

Daniel welcomed us in with a big smile, handed us a cart, and immediately reassured us by saying, "Don't rush." That small gesture instantly eased our anxiety. He went above and beyond--helping us find what we needed, bagging our groceries with care, and making sure we left with everything we came for. And he did it all with kindness and a smile! We tried to tip him but he wouldn't accept it-he was just operating from his kind and self-less nature
