I would like to say I typically love Brix & was a frequent customer of the Lake Mary location until last month where clearly a miscommunication took place with Angelina who was serving full priced glasses during happy hour. I reviewed the bill & was shocked to see I was charged 14$ a glass and 56$ for a 13$ bottle of wine. The happy hour menus were taken quickly after we ordered our first glass and I did not realize what was being served was not on the happy hour menu… however we were clearly there for happy hour so I would assume good customer service would be to state that what I had tasted, was not on the happy hour list. I spoke with Angelina and she was less than kind when I expressed the confusion and a bit of frustration she did explain that the bottles went up recently in price which I understood was out of her control however she also said there was nothing she could do for me basically that it is what it is. I requested to speak with someone else and she said she would get back with me. She called back a few days later while I was in a meeting and I let her know I would call her back. I called back 2 times and left messages with the ladies who took the call and never heard back from her. The principle of the point for me is that a loyal customer was a bit swindled and the lack of regard for a customers frustration to even follow up or simply apologize for the miscommunication or completely lack thereof was absent. I will never return to the Lake Mary location which Angelina who is apparently the manager of will clearly not care however someone should because over a 200$ tab with a generous tip is wild for a few glasses of wine at happy hour. Go to a different location where they actually care about...
Read moreI loved coming here with my colleague after Work as we are close by. Loved supporting local business an always left with multiple bottles of wine each to Go and share with friends and family leaving a 30% tip. We decided to have a going away party for One of our colleagues tonight and ordered many drinks, appetizers and bottles Of wine that I put on my tab. All ladies, small Group of 7 ladies. We expensed lots of money On various drink options and many apps. When we opted to order a final (individual) round Of drinks before our send off To our colleague, we were declined service because the bartenders thought only select Group members had drank which was far from the Truth. We ALL shared food and Bottles of wine. We were ordered Several Mimosa Flights etc for Our guest of honor. We were told We would not be served further which is Ridiculous because we are All professional women who all Planned ahead of time for safe Transportation. I will sadly not be returning and grossly disappointed on so many levels. We simply we send Off our Colleague without incident and as An act of generosity, I Put much of The bill on my debit card. Sincerely greatly disappointed and won’t be returning. My bill was well Over $250 P.s as a former bartender turned 6 figure professional - shame on you because you had a Good...
Read moreIf you’re looking for a wine experience that’s as fabulous as it is fun, Brix & Mortar Winery is the place to be—and Rebecca is the crown jewel of the experience! From the moment we walked in, she greeted us with the kind of happy, upbeat energy that makes you feel like a VIP.
The wine? Delicious. The baked Brie appetizer? Absolutely life-changing. Pair that with her fantastic service, and it’s a recipe for a perfect evening. Rebecca is not only super friendly and attentive, but she’s also a walking encyclopedia of wine knowledge. She answered every question we had (even the silly ones) with a smile and somehow made learning about wine feel like a party.
If you visit, ask for Rebecca—you’ll leave with a full glass, a happy heart, and probably planning your next visit before you even walk...
