This little taco shop reminds me of the good old days, where you had sauces and salsa readily available to add to your taco after it was done. The hard shells for the tacos are handmade, unlike all of the other Mexican restaurants I go to. These were literally the best tacos I’ve had in years.
And the tacos are loaded of great ingredients. You get a lot for your dollar here. I even got lots of fresh tomatoes, and lettuce on my tacos. And I was able to get a side of sour cream, which is often not easy to get anymore either. I got an unsweetened iced tea with some lemonade in it, so I was even able to make my own Arnold Palmer,
I cannot say enough about this place. They are open until 9 PM on weekdays, and Saturdays.
They have lots of amazing choices and the other people I met in here say that they are regular customers because it’s so good. I got three hardshell tacos and a drink for around $16. And they were better than the tacos that I’ve gotten at expensive restaurants here in LO. And there’s long enough tables for A family to sit and eat. So glad I found...
Read moreNice people, polite customer service, food arrives / takeout quickly, and the prices are actively good.
Food is mid or low tier. Veggies poor quality and poorly cooked. Shrimp is cardboard and watery / flavorless. Chicken and shredded beef are decent but dry. Enchiladas have no filling besides the protein and cheese. Tortillas are low'ish quality preservative tasting... And the food isn't always / consistently fully melted or warm. I just can't recommend this burrito shop.
All in all if you order carefully and have low expectations then there's a good chance you'll enjoy yourself. But honestly.... You could do a lot better for your takeout.
Their breakfast burritos are legitimately excellent, worth buying. Guessing something simple like a protein quesadilla would...
Read moreWell on my first visit the Jamaica drink tasted like water. I invited a friend and we spent about $47. Fair I didn't care about the prices I even tip and usually don't care to do it unless I'll be sitting and get full service but cleaning up after we're done. I wasn't happy about that. I still visit a second time and spend $7. Because they have a stand for carrots and radishes which I love for my tongue tacos but guess what??? The 2nd time I visit I found a piece of log in one of my tacos I was biting into when I found it. (Just imagine if I get it stuck in or splint or an infection) I did spoke to the owner about she was very very nice and even wanted to remake my order. I'm writing this review and let you be the judge of what ever you want to think of this...
