VCF keeps deleting my review.
JUST DONT BUY FROM VCF!! This has to be the worst experience! We've been waiting 6 months for replacement furniture. Very expensive furniture, may I add, that we've been paying on for 6 months now!
Original salesperson Anna Thoms sold us the sectional on 11.30.24. Delivery was about 1 weeks out. Sectional arrived with damage. We complained about the damage and sent Greg Hallie, Store Manager, pictures via text. He then, via text promised to replace the whole 7 piece set rather than just the damaged pieces. Greg, via text, explained that way the furniture wears evenly. Initially, Greg was very helpful. We quickly discovered that the store and the delivery company DO NOT communicate. No one at the store ever answers the phone and we do not have or have ever had a direct number to the delivery company. We have now had 7 failed deliveries. 7 times where they bring partial replacements and not the whole sectional. Greg Initially claimed to correct the issue but failed each time. As our frustrations grew Greg began to communicate less and refused to give us discounts to offset the payments we were making on this damaged set. We attempted to reach corporate with no response back. We told Greg Hallie that we reached out to corporate and at that point he stopped responding to our calls and texts. On the final delivery attempt, 2 pieces were to arrive, the delivery men complained to Salesman Amir, due to concerns that the delivery was incomplete. Amir is now the only one who responds to our concerns, understands our frustration and is trying to correct the issue going above and beyond. Amir has expressed fear of losing his job since the floor manager threatens him when he states he is trying to help customers.
We are stuck with damaged goods, a store manager that won't assist anymore and a company that is completely unresponsive. STAY AWAY FROM VALUE CITY FURNITURE! They want that commission and then could care less about customer satisfaction. We are appalled at this service. We have a sectional we are dissatisfied with and a hefty monthly...

Found what I thought was a great deal on a sofa. Went shopping on a Saturday and found a sofa with a great price. It had a big tag hanging on it that said “IN STOCK”. After shopping a few other stores the wife and I decided to come back for it the next weekend.
We arrive the next Saturday after renting a u-haul to get our new couch. We came in and purchased said sofa to find out that it was not “IN STOCK” but at their warehouse in DC. Ok, our bad for not checking in the first place. We were told that it would be at the store the next Wednesday and available for pickup.
So, the next Saturday we rent a u-haul again and we take our old sofa to the dump to make way for the new one. We arrive at the store and go to the delivery bay. We give the info to the warehouse clerk. After 30 minutes he comes back and says he can’t find it. We speak with several people who apologized and we were offered free delivery for that Wednesday. They show us that there are 180+ at the warehouse and even order 2 to the store. We get a text and call to confirm the delivery. The wife cancels her work trip to be there for the delivery. Sofa never shows. We call back and again, the sofa never made it to the store.
So again they promise the sofa to be delivered Saturday. We call Friday to confirm that the sofa made it to the store. We are told that the sofa was there and we would be the first delivery. Delivery window comes and goes…no sofa.
After trying to get ahold of someone at the store, we received a call from the warehouse clerk who told us that the sofa never made it to the store. After two hours speaking to customer service and someone at the store and more promises, we decided to give up and take the “L”. Now out $160 for truck rentals and hours of time lost.

Read moreValue city delivery status I originally purchased a table and six chairs in the Fredericksburg office back in August 2024. I received my table and four chairs three months later. I was still missing two chairs I called and they said they would be delivered in a couple months, they didn’t have a delivery date. Fast-forward I received several text messages, phone calls, and emails with several different delivery dates and not one of those delivery dates were met. I never received a phone call for cancellation. I always had to call and ask what happened why my chairs were not delivered and no one was ever able to give me a clear answer. Later I found out they had to deleted my information out of their computer, but what I found weird was I still was receiving phone calls text messaging emails with the correct address for delivery but not receiving any deliveries. Needless to say after many attempts, I finally received a phone call from a lady named Sandra in the Woodbridge office. She was able to get me not just a discount, but she made sure that she was getting my furniture, two chairs delivered with the help of the GM as well as the regional manager. If it were not for Sandra talking with the GM, I don’t think I would have all of my furniture to date so I sent out a big shout out in a very grateful. Thank you to Sandra the GM and the regional manager and for that and all of their efforts to rectify the situation that the Fredericksburg office caused I can give them four stars cause they really truly don’t know what’s going on behind the scenes and Sandra did everything she...
