I have recently stayed in this location, everything was exceptionally wonderful! Literally what I would actually consider to be the most perfect convenient location, hotel room, and not to mention staff. Jay, Tina, Michael, Chiki (I think thats how you spell her name), and pretty much the whole front desk staff went absolutely above and beyond with their hospitality. Everything was going so great up until a lady named Mary Crawford, who is claiming to be the regional director of operation had cause my partner and I an intense amount of emotional and physical distress!!! I cannot emphasize enough the feeling of how discriminating she was towards us. She literally disrupted our sleep and had stated that she will change our rate indicating a hotel policy WHICH HAD TURNED OUT TO BE FALSE! I called the Marriott Corporate and even did my own research on a policy she claims that Marriott has. After a corporate telling her that she was wrong, she did not apologize for anything instead she continued to be utterly disrespectful. She rolled her eyes, gave us faces, and would not even let us speak at all. Unfortunately, she did not stop there, she had again came up with another policy that she claims to be hotel/marriott policy in which i asked of her to physically present to me but she refused. I was able to verify with an elite service corporate agent that the policy she had told me was false once again. This lady stated multiple things to us that we concluded to be false based on the Marriott Corporate themselves, and at the very end when she couldn't come up with any more reason to get us to pay a higher rate that she is hoping for, she had us kicked out. This is extremely disappointing given the fact that she is the regional director ... she should be a role model but instead she projected a service that was undeniably wrong. Everything that is stated on this review are backed up by multiple corporate agents and even recordings I have of my own. So please for any future or current guests, know that the place itself is great and the regular working staff there are just so wonderful but I just pray that no one else will have to go through the emotional, physical, and mental stress that my partner and I are currently going through right...
Read moreI hate to write anything negative, but I need a way to process the way I was treated by this hotel. I purchased a room for a client of mine, and the process involved me signing an authorization for ONE room - for my client. I received the invoice upon my client's check-out and thought no big deal - all done. Two days later, I got an invoice for another room (for the client's family member) that I CLEARLY DID NOT authorize. It was not my client's fault. Apparently the hotel not only took cash from the client's family member, but also charged my card for two more unauthorized nights. I have called no fewer than six times this week and have emailed more than five times. No one answers the email even though it is not a "do not reply" account (it is the one I was told to use). The calls started out with the front desk representative saying "I want to get to the bottom of this," but I soon realized they were empty promises. I spoke to the same person every day and had to re-explain the situation every time. I was told "my manager will call, and if she can't, I'll call you by the end of the day to let you know." Not once was I contacted by the manager as I was repeatedly promised. And I was patient! Finally, today, the same front desk representative - who I won't name because I'm kind at heart - basically interrupted me, got exceedingly rude with me, and washed her hands of the entire situation. This is unacceptable. I know "status" is silly, but I have been either Ambassador Elite or Titanium for the last several years. This is not how you treat the loyal. I'm submitting a fraud claim and want to warn anyone NOT to deal...
Read moreI stayed for over three months on an extended stay, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. The room was often left dirty and dusty. I had to call the front desk numerous times to report that housekeeping had not attended to my room. The vacuum cleaner was broken and needed parts for replacement, but the response was always to find excuses.||The management at this location is disorganized, and I encountered rude responses from the supposed regional manager. The breakfast served daily was nearly inedible, with almost expired yogurt and hard bagels wrapped in plastic. Additionally, we were discouraged from raising any complaints.||The pool heating system was broken all winter, with staff continuously stating they were waiting for parts to fix it. Written comments at the reception desk suggested that they try to hold the deposit amount for an extended period and find ways to absorb the whole amount.||I would advise staying away from this hotel. The only positive aspect is its location, which is close to Potomac Mills Mall. However, if you are expecting the standard Marriott service, this is not the place. The manager is rude and arrogant, and the staff, including housekeeping and restaurant cooks, do not speak English and seem unhappy to work there. The hotel appears to rely on refugees and temporary workers who are almost forced...
