My only experience with DPS is through team sports pictures at the Boys and Girls Club over the past 4 years. The picture quality and pose has always been fine. The experience is always awful. But I don't consider that completely DPS fault. It's people who don't plan ahead, don't come prepared, who come late, who don't know how to fill out a form or do it ahead of time online (that is my tip: fill out the order and pay online ahead of time!), and don't keep their kids in line and ready for the photographer. These photographers are taking pics of hundreds of kids in like 2 hours and dealing with many idiotic parents in the process, while they get farther and farther behind because little Bobby (not his real name) decided he wanted to go to the vending machine WHILE his team photos are in progress and his Mom gave him money to do so, putting us behind by over 15 minutes. It's pretty amazing that these folks even stay sane. Sitting there watching the mayhem is enough to make me wonder if humankind even deserves to...
Read moreOur Youth Football/Cheer league used DPS for our league photos. When dealing with a few hundred kids, you expect organized chaos. What you donât expect is for your entire squadâs order to be mishandled and delivered weeks later than other squads.
Once I finally got the picture packet (weeks late), I found only a cd and a âsorry the rest your order is on backorderâ letter.
After viewing the picture on the cd, my daughter is completely out of focus. The only parts of the picture in focus are the football helmet at her feet and her poms. So now I have a blurry picture of my daughter on a cd, and the other 98% of my order is lost somewhere.
I tried contacting DPS through Facebook, their customer service email address, and the contact us links on their website. There has been zero communication on their end in response to my concerns. I donât even want a refund. I just wanted pictures of my kid that are in focus!
Overall, incredibly unprofessional photographers and even more unprofessional...
Read moreMy dance studio hired DS to take individual and class photos of the kids during recital rehearsal. DS was disorganized and not very friendly to work with. Two photos were taken of my daughter. They really wanted her to smile in the first pose, but she wanted to pose like a serious ballerina (sheâs 3). For the second photo, I told her to do what she really wanted. That photo was beautiful and I paid for it, requesting that pose. When I finally received the final product, they gave me the wrong photo. It truly is awful and of poor quality. The group photos were also terrible. Trust me, if you have decent digital camera and a good background, your photo will turn out 100x better than what DS can do. They were so terrible that my dance studio said they will NOT be using them in the future. From customer service, photo quality, organization, etc., they are just all bad. They also do not call back or email when a complaint is made or a...
