Buzz Inn Steakhouse — Restaurant in Lake Stevens

I came here to have dinner with my Mother and Brother yesterday. As soon as I walked in, we were greeted by a waitress who instantly got me and my family a table. We ordered our drinks, and informed her we need more time to order our food. Our drinks came almost instantly, and we still need more time to order our food. When we finally ordered our food, the lady was fantastic and we didn't have to repeat anyting, and she brought out my Mothers salad just a few minutes later. What was also fantastic, was the fact that my drink never got below half- full. She kept all of our drinks topped off. When she finally brought out our food she had a smile on her face, she remembered who ordered what, and then promptly asked if we needed anything else. And throughout the entire time being at Buzz Inn, she checked in on us make sure our drinks were full and made sure we enjoyed our food. When we finally finished our meal she promptly asked if we wanted our plates removed. Overall I enjoyed being there, I enjoyed my waitress, and obviously I'm going to go back. Update: Took my son out for lunch today to try again based on a message I got to give them another try. It was pretty slow. This time I did NOT tip on my receipt at the register, but instead brought cash with me to leave if warranted. Once again, NO ONE came over to ask for drink or good refills. No one came over to offer a box, which I had to help myself to. So guess what? I did not leave a tip, nor will I return to this location. Super frustrated, and I'm over it. Is it really that hard?

Sigh. I keep trying at this location, only to get disappointed. Food was meh. Service, nonexistent. Hey servers: if I tip you UP FRONT when I order my food and pay the bill, I expect you to return to my table at least once to see if we need anything such as drink refills or boxes. If you can't do that, than perhaps you should take the tip option OFF the bill. Just a suggestion. I will not tip again on a prepaid meal. If you do your job, I will leave cash on the table, not that I see that happening...

Stopped here after a 4 day backpack trip. Was craving a burger and beer(and milkshake for the 8 year old daughter). Had cobwebs in the ceiling and a fly the same daughter had to exterminate. Ordered at the front, cashier asked me if I wanted dipping sauce for the fries. That was nice. I asked for ranch. We got the super dipper(?), mozzarella sticks, Swiss burger, 2 beers, 3 milk shakes, sliders and coconut prawns. $100 including tip. Fries were cold, had to go back up and ask for my ranch and napkins. Mozzarella sticks were partially solid, not gooey like mozzarella sticks are supposed to be. Asked for to go containers and was directed to the server station. Terrible service and food average to poor. I used to bartend and wait tables so it hurts to leave a bad review but was definitely not a fan of Buzz Inn. I wished I'd picked a different restaurant for our post...
