Biscuit & Bean Lake Stevens — Restaurant in Lake Stevens

We were driving from Vancouver British Columbia to our home in Las Vegas Nevada. We have a friend who lives in lake Stevens and wanted to meet her for breakfast so we searched out this place on Google. It was small and unassuming with cheerful employees and brisk business. I ordered the sausage biscuit and my wife had the biscuits and gravy. All I can say is OMG! Both were far and away the best we've ever experienced!! Couple that with the Cool vibe of the people, along with the tables and chairs outside in the fresh air.... Then add the lake scenery right across the street and you've got a great little spot for some of the most amazing biscuits I've ever tasted. The country gravy was thick, creamy, meaty, and flavorful. The sausage biscuit sandwich had a crisp top and was layered with eggs, cheese, and sausage. The sausage patty had a nice balance of sage and mild pork without too much grease. It was very light tasting. Back to the fluffy, tasty biscuit... It was soft and steamy with green onion inside. Man alive, it was delicious! You can rest assured we will be heading back to the biscuit and Bean the next time we are in the area to visit my friend again....

I came in here for the first time and I must say everything was amazing. I've heard nothing but good things about. It's good and beans.So I finally came in to give it a try. Definitely, don't regret it. Only regret is not getting in here sooner. I got myself the melted ham and cheese on a cheddar and green onion biscan and the old my Lord voice it out of this world, all the employees here are super friendly, and serve you with a smile on their face.. The owner took a minute Christina to introduce herself. And I can tell you see it's one that he not only cares about her business but cares about their employees as well, which is even more important. I love that. Thank you for having me in today. I make it a point to stop here for breakfast when I go through Lake Stevens. The biscuits and sausage gravy are delicious, some of the best around. Make sure you get a side of pickled jalapeños if you like a bit of spice. The breakfast sandwiches are fantastic. Their cold brew is great, and it's consistent. Staff is extremely friendly and professional. Prices are very reasonable.

The only low point is that seating in the dining room is EXTREMELY limited. There's one low four top and all of the rest is high top bar style seating. it's pretty uncomfortable for adults, and can be a bit nerve wracking with kids. I find it more comfortable to leave the chair pushed in and stand, and the tables accommodate this fairly well. They have covered outdoor seating that's perfect in the warmer months, but during the colder seasons it can be undesirable.
