Worst place ever! Not only was the lady who coordinated the place absolutely rude and had zero compassion, the place itself was not great. If your planning on having food or drinks, there is no kitchen area to fill up water or use a sink. And plan on not having space to plug anything in. And if you don’t have every last chair put in the exact same spot to the exact inch and cleaned spotless, you’ll be charged! Even though there was garbage left from the party before us and I would assume from the day before because there was no event booked before ours. We also showed up a 20 minutes early and after trying to find anyone, started to unload the boxes for our event and set them in the room. This was 15 minutes before the event started. At exactly 11:12 we were rudely accosted by the event coordinator that we had to “evacuate” until the one person she spoke to was there. Well wouldn’t you know it as we go to that bottom of the stairs, she arrived! We were informed we could have been charged and then everything seemed fine and her attitude turned around. At the end of the event, we were informed that we would be charged $150 and told something about cleaning supplies we should have used. Well good thing I brought my own because those were no where to be found!! It’s a good thing we were throwing my friend a baby shower after a very very tiring IVF process or I would have left before it started. It was also a million degrees so dress light and being some fans, and no elevator unless your in a wheelchair!! NEVER...

Don’t rent here unless you have no other choice. I tried to book additional time for set up (we originally booked a half an hour) and they wouldn’t let me add time although it was days before the event with no other event booked before our 11:30 start. Then they charged me $150 extra because a few others in the party showed up 15 minutes early to unload the boxes. Mind you, our walkthrough starts at 11:15 and Dawn, the rental coordinator, saw that things were being moved in and instead of saying that our party needed to wait, she waited until i got there and rudely decided that was the time to kick everyone out and charge me the damage deposit. 15 minutes….

Dawn has zero compassion, is inflexible, and honestly maybe eager to steal people’s security deposit because she could have intervened when she saw people moving things in initially. If you’re going to book here, you better read the policy word for word and don’t be a minute outside your rental time because they will screw you anyway they can.

My wife and I got married here, it's a nice new rustic venue located in an beautiful lake front area. Now we did have to get creative with rearranging the ceremony into the banquet and dance part of our wedding, despite that we were able to comfortably accommodate 80 guests and staff. Our caterer was able to work with the lack of a kitchen, which will be an obstacle for some weddings (which apparently they are going to address in a potential expansion but don't quote me on that). We were able to book the entire building for the whole 13 hour day for less than what many other venues charged for three hours. Not to mention we received a lot of compliments...
