Drink and Ink — Restaurant in Lake View Township

Went here last week for a quick drink with friends that were in town. Drinks were good and great friendly atmosphere. I've been here before and had a great time.

Unfortunately, I woke up the next morning with a notice from my credit card company asking if I had meant to tip 143% on top of my $10 bill, which came out to a $25 charge on my card. I had left a $4 tip because we didn't stay long, but adding a 1 ($10 extra) to my tip line after the fact is a huge turn off. Watch your charges the next day if you go here.

Been here 2-3 times, maybe. Staff’s always courteous and kind. Vibes even if it’s slow is ambient and welcoming. Game’s always on so that’s another plus. Get the Cucumber Mule. Artists next door are solid too (got like 3 pieces here) if you like ink with the most gentle piercing booth I’ve experienced. Some of the crowd is chill (the dudes who don’t wanna be bothered) the others are educated and chill. Watch out for “poseurs,” or “locals,” though. I digress. Favorite part is the counters with outlines and oldschool tatt adverts— unique and straight class. No matter which bar on the Northside you’re at, this place should be next...

After a show at the Aragon Ballroom, in dire need of a beer, we aimed for Drink and Ink, only to find an amazing staff, a great selection of local craft beers, and friendly patrons. A calm and full hearted place, relaxed and welcoming. If this were in my neighborhood, I'd be a regular.
