As a CEO myself, I found it very degrading and disrespectful how the store handles and security came in with my partner bought a couple items and realized there was a store across the street. We want to check out we noticed they had free parking for their customers for an hour, so I asked the guy if I could use the other 56 minutes allotted to me for parking while I ran across the street, since I had bought something, we do not enforce the rules here I promise you no one will approach you about it. I replied I’ll keep my receipt just in case we took the car. We noticed that security had followed us all the way to our vehicle, we walked back to the door to exit I want to notice that security was following us out the store for an entire seven minutes once we got in line at the new store they then left as we came back to target manager, approached us and informed us that she reserved the right vehicle that we left the store permission to argue with us , I think that permission policy violation should be addressed with your employees , she instructed us that she was being nice and not telling her vehicle but she reserved the right to do so . Extremely inappropriate for their security to follow us to a different store and to our vehicle just to ensure we were going to remain on their property and I also find it and consider it an inconvenience for all of your employees not to be on the same page about your policies For our vehicle and spent money in your store.
In 2023 Mikaelson Enterprises was paid more 250k to target distribution , but we can't park ? Understand!

Read moreDisgusted by the customer service I received last month, I never leave reviews but still look back on that day a month ago in anger. I asked Jeanette to ring me up as I had two gift cards, I don't like using self checkout because they cut down jobs, like that of Jeanette's. She told me just scratch the back off the card and inter a pin myself. She made me use the self pay register and refused to ring me up after she rang up another customer. She notices I'm taking a while and there are other customers in line behind me. I ask nicely again if she could help me she says "I'm not just gonna ring you up". At this point i do everything in my power not to explode, I'm in customer service and have never been rude right off the bat to a customer. She ends up coming to self check out and cant get the gift cards to work EITHER. She ends up having to ring me up. WOW, had she helped me the first time there wouldn't have been an issue. Now we are 10 minutes into a transaction that could have taken 1 minute, had Jeanette done her job and not been both ageist and negligent. She rings me up and says " there is no value on the cards, ( I know that is a lie because I got them as a thank you from a market research group). I tell her try it again, or grab your manager. This time she has no issue. Had I worn business clothes I feel i would have been treated better from the start by Jeanette. Jeanette never once apologized. I have never been bullied by a target employee before and I hope I never am again. Id fire Jeanette no question. If she isn't gone, she needs more...
Read moreI generally have liked Target, but it's practice of showing an "online" price that doesn't match the local store's price is deceptive and offensive--especially when my neighborhood store is selected as "my store" online (so that I can check inventory and pricing before heading into the store).
The listed online price for my location was over 30% LOWER than the actual price I was charged in the store, which is a ridiculous discrepancy--especially for an everyday food item (almond milk). I now get that the prices listed online are for pick up and delivery (or online shopping even if most food items are not shipment items), but there should be some obvious way to view your local store's prices as many people view pricing and stock online before heading into their local store.
Whatever the case, I won't be making the same mistake again, but I also will be much less likely to shop at this location or any Target in the future.
footnote: I get that hiring/staffing is challenging at the moment, but the group of disgruntled college (maybe high school?) dropouts presently staffing the store...
