I don’t usually leave these but tonight’s fiasco must be shared. I ordered from this place tonight through ChowNow at 8:35pm. The store closed at 9pm which is fine. But my order was accepted by them and delivery was scheduled for 8:50. The delivery time passed and no food in sight. I waited until 8:54. These trackers are not always accurate. Still no delivery or call. I decided to call the store since they don’t close until 9pm. I must’ve called 10 times. Not sure why no one answered. Sure, it’s almost closing time but, technically, you’re still open until 9pm. And my issue could’ve been resolved easily there by phone. I called ChowNow. The rep was extremely helpful. I explained what happened and she went to work trying to get a refund using an alternate number for the store which was on file. Get this, the MANAGER who answered the alternate line informed the ChowNow rep that he was refusing the refund and wanted to sort it out with me. Said since they were closing they don’t accept orders after 8:30. Umm, no. Dude, just give me the refund and own up to your mistake. If you don’t accept orders after a certain time then make that distinction on your website or configure the ordering system where orders can’t be placed after 8:30 or reject the order. The store accepted my order at 8:35 and scheduled delivery. I answered the manager’s call and I informed him that I wasn’t interested in the food any longer and only wanted a refund. Do you know this guy started yelling at me?! The MANAGER of this location and even tried to argue with me so I ended the call. I wasn’t going to do that with someone I didn’t know. He called back. Yeah, straight to voicemail, crazy person. I called ChowNow back to explain this next bit of crazy-making. This rep (also very helpful) informed me that the MANAGER of this location told them they tried to deliver it but I wouldn’t respond. So the MANAGER of this location is not only combative but a huge liar. If that were true, why’d you tell the ChowNow rep that my ordered wasn’t delivered because you don’t process orders after 8:30. Rhetorical. At 9:43, nearly an hour after my order was supposed to be delivered, I received a call from their delivery guy. I told him sorry but that order was supposed to have arrived nearly an hour ago and that he could keep it. Finally, I was granted my refund. All the MANAGER had to do was take accountability for his wrong and issue me the refund. Simple. Never ordering from this...
Read moreI go to this location about 5 times a month and the woman who works there is beyond rude to me every time. She’s very visibly irritated to be there (get a new job if you hate it so much!) and she consistently gets my order incorrect (it’s chipotle style so I don’t know how she literally can’t get it right when I’m telling it to her as she should be making it). And today she really made me angry- to the point that I’m writing this review. I always order the Kefta kabob meat and I know it’s made to order which I don’t mind. Today though, a man after me ordered three plates of Kefta and literally got his 3 plates (of the same meat that I ordered several minutes before him) 10 minutes before I got my ONE plate (that I had to complain about to get by the way) ONLY TO BE GIVEN THE WRONG PLATE AGAIN! Every time I go here my order is at least $15 which is a lot of money to spend on the wrong meal. This woman is passive aggressively rude to me constantly and I’m a loyal customer that always tips. The food is good, but as an employee of the customer service industry it’s beyond...
