Zen. Pure paradise. This is maybe the best part of this creatively named garden center. As you stroll in through the entry gardens, your muscles relax, your BP slows down, and all the outside world melts away. Your senses are filled with the sound of multiple, gentle water fountains, flowing to the sound of relaxing music. Statues of every kind surround you, some dramatic, others whimsical. The one you didn't know you needed is there, just around the next turn. When you find several plants you've never seen before, and so Must have, head inside to treasures for homing your new greenery, or decorations for indoors and out. A certain statuary section has clever and delightful images of dogs in cars, fruit with stunningly human faces, memorial plaques, dragons, elves, frogs and Mexican pottery. I brought cell shots of some garden issues at my home and the green thumb doctor was in. "Chris" could not be tree stumped! Show him a photo and you'll get an Everything you need to know about whatever flora that needs some TLC - Terrific Lessons (from) Chris! Healing, reviving, feeding, potting, pruning and training! Even if they don't sell (ha!) whatever it is you need, he can suggest alternatives to revive or encourage your green charges. This place is the Saks of succulents, the Hollywood of vine - the place to go to have your verdant garden & residence the envy of your neighborhood. Or just admire the view and listening...

She said that the best one in the area was Amelia's Smarty Plants. I went that afternoon and had a good visit. Upon arrival, I was greeted by music that was played from their speakers. As I walked into the nursery, I heard water running from their many fountains. If I was living in the area, I would go regularly to enjoy walking through this garden center. They had a good selection of plants, statuary, fountains and numerous garden accessories. For the most part, their signage was good. I was greeted Paula (I think), who was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I really enjoyed their selection of statuary. So much of the statuary that I normally see on the market is similar and is often tacky. However, they had a good selection and some unique pieces that I have not seen being offered. Paula said some people come to stroll through their plants just to unwind. Next time I am back int his area, I will make this one...
