I have so many positive things to say about Elegant Lady Dressmaker!! They are absolutely wonderful, from customer service to quality and every last detail. I bought my wedding gown in early 2019 for an October 2020 wedding. I just had to have it (Dress by Beloved by Casablanca Bridal bought from Lily Bridal in Orlando… if you’re curious). By the time 2020 rolled around I had moved cities from Orlando to West Palm beach and we were having a global pandemic. I needed my dress altered though so I brought my wedding gown into Elegant Lady after reading another review that mentioned they do wonderful work with wedding gowns. So, in the midst of planning and replanning my wedding because of this pandemic I brought my dress into Elegant Lady and they made my bridal dreams come true. And a wedding dress is not something you trust just anyone with! But I trusted them, and I was completely blown away – so happy! It was a full lace gown with sleeves and a scalloped trim so even with just minor altering I was really nervous, but it was perfect, and they went above and beyond for me. I even had her change the bra pads for me which she did so seamlessly! Not to mention, she turned it around in great time! I am so grateful for this small, local business. My husband also got his suit tailored here! I checked out several dress makers in the area who were both more and less expensive than Olga but, I chose her because she seemed to be the most welcoming and professional. I found my Stella York 6142 in a size 10 online and needed to have it altered to a size 4. My wedding was 10 months away but I hate waiting and needed to know that my dress was going to fit and look the way I wanted right away. Olga took care of me asap. My dress had extensive lace detail and bead work which required her to remove the entire scallop lace from the hem, shorten the length, and reapply the lace around the entire bottom including court length train. She took the dress in, shortended the straps, sewed in a bra for me, and created a bustle. All this only took 2 or so weeks, over 3 visits to complete. I asked her if I could bring the dress back for any last minute adjustments closer to my date and she happily agreed. Sure enough 9 months later I wanted the bustle adjusted (luckily I didnt gain weight) so I brought it back to Olga. She made the adjustment as promised at no extra cost and had it back to me in 1 week. Do yourself a favor and use her for your alterations.
