Cafe Tecun — Restaurant in Lake Worth Beach

I'm surprised it's not a 5 star already instead of a 4. On average 6 tacos will cost about $15, 3 for about $8. But 100% worth it! This may seem higher than standard Taco Bell but 3 tacos can easily fill you up and they are packed to the brim with meat. Everything is homemade right there in front of you. Tacos in general take about 3 minutes since she needs to fry the shell. Very down home and relaxed feel place. Not much space but great for drive by pick up or quick sit down. The location is right off the main strip of Lake Avenue in Lake worth. If you're not from florida, that section is thier downtown. I have only had Tacos but my father has ordered burritos and they are massive. She also makes her very own hot sauce which is a green type paste and tends to run out quickly since people flock to it. If you ever want a true “authentic” taco! With great rice and beans! You need to come here! I am very critical about food places that claim they have good food. This place is definitely not showy, nothing to brag about as far as the looks, it’s basically you’re a little hole in the wall with excellent excellent authentic food🤗. I’m telling you right now this little place rocks #CafeTecun for once in my life I came home not wanting to snack later. And I could not stop eating the tacos. Needed food quickly and found this small place. They were running a taco Tuesday special but I opted for a Cuban—great size, 3/5 for taste, I took it for take out so was a little soggy by the time I got it home. Also got a quesadilla and nachos. Overall, it was fine 3/5 for taste. Lots of traditional Tex-mex dishes to choose from.
