Have you ever had a project start happening that you’ve never done before and then you ran out of stuff 1/2 way through; so the thought that you would rather leave half your home in shambles before wanting to go back to the unrelenting and unforgiving crowds at Home Depot or other major chains? Me too. That’s why I shopped at Ace Hardware. Where I wasn’t glared at for looking lost or being in someone’s way. The manager asked and took an interest in my project when I came back for more stuff I inevitably ran out of. The cashiers were friendly and everything was so stinking organized. I can put in an order the night before and have it ready to pick up by 10am next morning (it needs to be in stock but man these guys work fast) UN FREAKING REAL. I worked in customer service for 15 years, it’s exhausting work. But every time I’ve gone in I have had nothing but an amazing experience. I was looking for a specific brick cleaner unsure if that was what I needed, the guy I spoke to (the manager I believe who was also running around the store doing things and not hiding in the back) recommended me graffiti wash instead. It worked SO well. I know he wanted pictures of the updated project but I’ve been so satisfied with them I haven’t found something I need to go back for yet! Maybe light bulbs. But if you’re reading this and you helped me. The pictures speak for themselves. It worked like a CHARM 💛 there’s a picture where I highlighted a little red square of where I tried it and let dry and you can see the cloudy white film is just GONE.

Nice store seem very busy and hard to get anyone to help you. Had my lawn mower worked on and they told me it was fixed I brought it home after waiting at least a week, and it wouldn’t run. Returned it back to the store and was assured I would be made a priority and have it back quickly, I didn’t hear back for a couple of days. When I called to see how it was going the guy wouldn’t get on the phone, he told the girl he would contact me when he got to it and when it would be done. I spoke with the owner and was assured they would fix it again at no charge. He got with the mechanic, Within the next day or two it was fixed, he had to put a new carburetor on the push mower he already fixed and charged me for the second repair.(minus labor). I just don’t understand why it wasn’t fixed right the first time? Mower works but now smokes, Never did before they worked on it. Guessed I learned my lesson, and won’t be returning for mechanical work...

Placed an online order for an ego generator. A major storm had hit our area and I was in desperate need of this product. When I arrived at Ace the staff was very friendly and even managed to complete my order with their own systems being down due to the storm. They were super friendly to my daughter and made us feel very welcomed. After a night of no power or heat, such a warm welcome and prompt service was exactly what we needed.
