I am from out of town but when I come to Lakeland sometimes I stop by Victoria secret. I was shopping and I had 3 bras hanging from my arm and 5 panties. A worker asked if I needed a bag and I said no thank you. And she had a look like she was surprise I didnāt want a bag and she said some other words and I kept looking. Then I guess a manager saw me and told the same worker how about you give that customer a bag and worker had this look like I had offered her one and I felt bad bc Iām like maybe that manager should either had faith that the coworker already had or maybe asked if she did or better yet how about the manager ask me. Is that not in the manager job duties description ? But since I heard her I just said I donāt know need one thank you.And she said something else and I responded Iāve been doing this for awhile and I got it. That whole bag thing was so irritating like you have bags right at the entrance if I wanted one I would of got one but itās good that you are being kind bringing me one and asking but if I said no thank you please just say ok youāre welcome and maybe if you need any help with find anything my name is (blank ) and just let it be. Then the checkout line was getting long and and the third worker came in and got on a register but they were moving so slow, I think one cashier was trying to get a person to sign up for something but the customer told her basically she was in a hurry to checkout. A manager was trying to get another woman to sign up for something and the lady already told her no but she kept going and you can tell the customer was aggravated bc snap back and the manager was like everytime you coke itās going to ask you the same question. Iām like what up with being so pushy. But the one worker went on break so it left them with 2 cashiers. But just observing Iām like the manager sure likes to just tell folks what to do instead of helping. Like her on a register and help move this line. When I got to the front the cashier she was new and had to ask for assistance which was fine but thatās how I knew the manager should of definitely jumped on a register to help work the line down. This whole experience was like different how things work differently back at home. It should be a all hands on deck when trying to move the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām not one who usually posts reviews, but I feel compelled to today. I went in on a Tuesday afternoon, and it was definitely not busy. The girl in the store didnāt so much as LOOK in my direction when I walked in, let alone greet me. I was never asked if I needed help, which is an unusual occurrence. I was standing outside of the dressing room waiting for a room for several minutes, which is usually okay, Iām an adult and can wait when the situation calls for it. However, these 2 girls were standing 12-15 feet away from me, and just continuing folding the merchandise. Iām fairly certain they could both see me out of their peripheral vision, but I digress. I ended up having to ask for a dressing room, which, again, Iām fully capable of doing, but itās frustrating under these circumstances. Finally, Iām standing at the normal check out counter on the VS side, for around 5 minutes. Literally at least two employees full on walked past me, completely able to see I was waiting to check out, and walked back to the store room, I assume. It was only when one girl decided to acknowledge my presence and asked if I needed to check out, to which I replied that I did. She stated that they were only doing check outs at the āPink sideā. Like, Iām not a mind reader and I have no idea how I was supposed to have known that. I go to check out, and the employee ringing people up was no upgrade from anyone else Iād encountered. She looked unkempt at best. Look, Iām of the mindset where I donāt love to judge peoples appearances, but letās face it. 10 years ago, going to Victoriaās Secret used to be an enjoyable experience. You were met with beautiful items, a luxurious environment and employees that looked put together and tasteful. Being beautiful had nothing to do with it. Looks like the company has really let their standards fall. I really donāt think Iāll be likely to return to this store. Not a...
