I went to micheal’s on wednesday the 24th and had the worst experience. I saw online that they had an item in stock and when i arrived at the store I couldn’t find it. i asked the employee at the front of the store, she had glasses, if she could help me find it. she called someone over a walkie and they said two different aisles to check. instead of walking with me to look, she turned around and walked away. i went to look for myself and and couldn’t find them. i must’ve looked down each aisle 3 times. when i came back to the girl to ask for help she threw her hands up in the air and said she couldn’t help me. never in my life have i had this experience at a retail store. even when i was i was retail employee if i didn’t know where an item was i would at least try my self to find it before giving up. her attitude was rude and her unwillingness to try made my whole experience terrible. i left the store without what i was looking for and in an awful mood. i hope micheal’s improves and hires helpful people...
Read moreSo typically I don't shop at Michaels because they don't carry a whole lot of sewing and fabric items but I needed some sewing machine oil and they had it in stock at the Willow Lawn location. I searched the store I couldn't find it, I even looked at the map, and finally gave up and asked an employee. Turns out that was one of the better choices I've made today. Steven, who is one of the managers here, was incredibly kind and took me to the product. We chatted for a minute and found out we had a lot of common things and it was just very nice. It's not often you get nice in bigger cities so I thoroughly enjoyed this experience I will definitely come down here even if it is out of my way I think the store made a really good impression on me. If you have the choice between two Michael's locations that you're near up for the Willow lawn location if it's convenient it really was a...

Staff is still great and the store itself is still nice, but I went in today to buy a frame and was SUPER disappointed. The section is much smaller and almost every single frame was extremely minimalist/modern. It was basically the same frame in a bunch of different sizes and colors. I used to buy all my frames here as they had a great selection of styles to mix and match - and frames were my #1 purchase - but it's definitely not going to be an option going forward.

I'm so glad to have a craft store back at Willow Lawn! This store is much easier to navigate than the old one - it has a better arrangement so it doesn't feel so claustrophobic. It's so new they're still filling the shelves, but it's got loads of selection regardless. Super...
