I dropped my phone yesterday and the screen will no longer turn on, rendering the phone unusable. I already own another phone that I've been planning to switch to but hadn't had the time to yet. I also have been on a T-Mobile plan but am going back onto my family's Verizon plan. I went to this store and it was just the worst experience. I had to leave work early to make it to the store before it closed - I got there at 7:20, waited while the worker finished up a phone call, and then explained the situation. The worker never introduced himself, never even stood up to greet me, so I don't know his name. He told me he couldn't switch me onto my family's plan without one of my parents there (which I thought may be the case), but then he told me that we probably couldn't switch me on even if my dad was there because "it sometimes takes a while and we close soon." This was 40 minutes before the store closed. Before I left I showed him the new phone and how it said "Verizon" on the screen and asked if that meant the phone had a Verizon sim card in it. He said "maybe." This was some of the worst customer service I've ever received - I'll be taking my business to a different Verizon...
Read moreI have been trying since February to get my bill corrected to the proper price. We are being charged for tablets that were free during the S23 release. I have spent hours and hours trying to get this fixed with Verizon and the store. The employees at the store didn't even look up my phone number to look at my account before telling me there is nothing to be done and that I'm out of luck and my bill is just more so quit whining. I have a call in with Verizon legal department as I plan on filing a suit for fraudulent charges and promotion misrepresentation.
Update:
I was texted by the store manager a week ago. I replied within an hour and have heard nothing. There is no reason to return here unless I want the head ache of dealing with a dishonest company with subpar service. This is a reflection of the store front and Verizon as a whole. I have pulled my payment methods and disputed charges with my bank. This has been a terrible waste of my time and I encourage anyone reading to GO...
Read moreWent here to trade in 2 phones and was told I would receive a 10 dollar monthly credit off each of the new ones. Took 6 months and two calls to the store to finally get the credit which turned out to be 5 dollars per month not the 10 I was sold on. They also signed me up for cloud service and a device warrantee which I did not agree to. Save yourself the hassle and go to an actual verizon owned store or trade in online. Looks like a few other reviewers had near identical issues with this store.
Update - Called verizon and was told I needed to deal with the store. Called the stores corporate line which they left in a response to this review and gave them my information. I was told a district manager would contact me that week. That was 4 months ago. After trying to solve this for 8 months I am cutting my losses and just paying the extra 20 a month for the 2 years. Expensive mistake going...
