The Lounge- A CoLab Concepts Venue — Local services in Lakewood

My niece and I hosted a 25th anniversary party for my brother and his wife and this was the perfect space! We rented The Lounge side since that was the vibe we were going for (lounge-y cocktail party) and it worked out great for the number of guests we had. Everyone loved the room and the décor and we heard compliments all night. It was so nice and really took a weight off of us to have all of the platters, plates, glasses, and silverware provided, and Maureen and Megan set up all the furniture and anything else before we arrived - all we had to do was bring in our finger food/apps and flowers! (Unfortunately I forgot to take pics after everything was set up). The kitchen on the Lounge side wasn't completed yet and didn't have a working sink either, but fortunately we were permitted to use the kitchen on the other side since it hadn't been rented by anyone else at the time. The Lounge held the bridal shower of my dreams! I loved that we could bring in personal items but the CoLab offered a lot of necessities such as extra chairs, easels, and a catalogue of gorgeous extras such as glassware! The space itself is very warm and inviting from the moment you walk in. The picturesque bay window seating, the wall lined with cute mirrors and seating including the best pink chairs, and the very chic picture frame wall all contributed to a one of a kind event. The variety of seating allowed for people to mix and mingle. The cozy bar area allowed us to get creative and really make the space our own. I highly recommend The CoLab for your next event. We were in need of a last minute indoor location for a baby shower and the CoLab had The Lounge available. The Lounge was perfect. We had 30 guests (seated) comfortably and it would’ve been even more spacious if we didn’t have so much decor but even that worked in the space. The Lounge has a beautiful aesthetic as is and needed little decor to add. The team at The CoLab were very easy to work with, kind, helpful and accommodating. It’s the perfect location for a small baby shower, bachelor/bachelorette party, birthday party or even a small family gathering. I will be booking my next event...
