Terrible. Purchased a special order bookcase January 10th. Took a week to come in and I picked it up January 17th. The bookcase was wrapped in plastic and because it was raining, I did not inspect it until I came home with it. I was shocked to see that the support holes were drilled WAY off! How careless that this would be shipped out! Next Day, January 18th, I called and spoke to David about this. His response was telling me to bring it in so he could look at it. I suggested to him that I would be glad to text pictures of the problem to him. David said he would order a replacement bookcase that would come in next week. I called the following week on January 25th to ask if the replacement bookcase has come in. David said my replacement bookcase has not come in. I asked why not since he told me "next week". Then David said, "our orders come in every two weeks". O.K.......so today February 1st I call and speak to 'Kim'. He says that my bookcase will come in next week! Maybe Wednesday he says. So here I am going on 3 weeks for an undelivered fully paid for bookcase. As of this writing February 1st no bookcase and no idea when or if I'll get it. Lies & deception! They don't care and I;ll tell you why; -David or Kim did not even attempt an apology or seem to have a grain of empathy. -Didn't offer to take back the unusable bookcase & give me a refund -No one ever bothered to call and inform me of the delay. -Didn't offer to deliver the bookcase when it did come in. Even though my house is less than 3 miles from their store. -Finally......they probably really don't care because they (the owners? Kim & David) don't live in the Antelope Valley. *In retrospect I should have followed my first inclination and ordered online from IKEA. Would have had a bookcase in 3 days. *Kim says if they don't have my replacement bookcase on February 6th I will receive a full refund.............that's where we left it. Today is Wednesday, February 6th. Picked up the replacement bookcase. As I unwrapped the shelves I could see they were stuck together because the paint was not dry! These people are simply incredible! I'm returning for a refund. My advice......Do not purchase anything at Ross furniture in Lancaster! Thursday, February 7th; returned the bookcase. Tim refunded the purchase price after telling me how good his supplier is and that he didn't make the bookcase. No apology or empathy. This business does not care about their products or customers. Just sooooo sad!

I asked about custom order of something, the store gave me a few catalog selections based on what I did like in the store. Cheap furniture, over priced. Don't buy here.

Purchased a futon, corner broke not even a week later. Paid $279+tax +$35 delivery, said it'd be here Monday, I told them I needed it urgently.

Called Monday they told me Wednesday, they called me Wednesday and asked if they could deliver Thursday instead. It broke and they wanted $35 to pick up an extra $35 to deliver a replacement and fought me on picking something else. (Who wants to replace a futon that breaks in 1 week with the same thing).

Originally I was told if the furniture is broken they could refund the money, otherwise I could return it and pick something else no problem. They basically told me what I wanted to hear to make the sale then acted completely different once they had my money.

I replaced with a bed frame, they told me next Thursday, Thursday came and they told me next Thursday again. I had to call them that Thursday and they told me i had to pay $35 after previously telling me they'd ship free and pick up the futon at the same time.

I reluctantly agree. The bed frame arrives with dings, scratches, and defective pieces. One side had about 12 holes for screws and the other had 0. Yet it only came with 3 support boards, 2 legs broke attempting to lightly screw them in. They came with tiny plastic buttons that are meant to extend to touch the floor, none of them would touch, and the boards were less than 2 inches wide and less than an inch thick. And none of them could screw in the side with 12 defective holes let alone the side with 0.

I called and complained and took pictures as i opened the box to document everything so they couldn't blame me this time. I replaced the 3 boards that i knew would break with 6 2x4s and attempted to cut my losses.

2nd day while my girlfriend slept in one side and i laid their with my weight evenly distributed across the entire bed, the fragile piece with 12 defective holes snapped. This bent the screws that connected the frame to the head and foot boards.

I called and asked for another replacement and they said they wanted another $35 to pick it up, another $35 to deliver, and they would only replace the pieces that broke. I couldn't get anything else in the store since they already let me once.

By this point I've spent $370 for a $270 broken bed frame, spent over 3 weeks waiting, put 2 pieces of furniture together and had 1 futon for 1 week, forced to store it after breaking for 2 weeks, had the bed frame for 2 days and had to rent a uhaul to take it back.

They are rude, repeat the same thing like a broken record and try to blame me for breaking it. Any other company would have higher quality and a better return policy.

I bought 2 futons from Wal-Mart, both uncomfortable but neither one broke in almost 3 month's and they returned both for store credit with no receipt, would of paid cash with receipts.

I've wasted over a month and beastly $400 dealing with this. They show no sympathy and best they offer is replacing the same cheap product.

It amazes me they're still in business, but i suppose when you sell cheap furniture and charge $35 to deliver not even 5 minutes away at their own convenience selling products as new that are clearly defective, displays, etc they manage to make a few bucks.

Don't waste your time or money. Buy off Amazon or any other furniture store that had decent return policy and doesn't force you too pay more and keep your money in store.

I even offered to take half price and let them keep the delivery fees just to cut my losses because I'm moving and they're rude and blame me and won't work with me at all.

Honest to God i wish i never made the mistake of...

My name is Aisha and I purchased a couch on April 7th.. The very same day it was delivered and I noticed a tear underneath the arm of the couch Maybe a couple hours after it was delivered.. I immediately called them.. The guy I spoke to was sorta rude and told me well you’re suppose to inspect your merchandise before signing.. ( My fault and will not happen again in the future , but when you buy something new, you expect it to be without flaws) I said the delivery guy said to sign that I received it and how was I suppose to see a tear underneath the arm of the couch?? And I only noticed it because I was picking something up off the floor.. So he began rushing me off the phne saying he’s taking care of customers and to send a picture to a number he gave me and he’ll get back to me. So the day went on and I called back.. He says we got your text and we will get back to you, we dnt close until 7, but we may have to send it out and wait to get another one.. So I ask how long would it take? He says between 7-14 days, but I will call you back and see what we can do.. Next Morning: I get a text asking what’s a good time for them to pick up the sofa.. ( puzzled) I say we haven’t even talked about nothing and am I suppose to be without a sofa until the new one comes in?? He said well we have to send it out so the company can take responsibility and send a new one.. So I ask how long would that be?? He says by next week.. I said I was told 7-14 days, so what day next week exactly?? He says by the end of next week.. I said I didn’t pay my money to get a damaged couch and I shouldn’t have to wait for an undetermined date to receive a new one.. I said I rather just get my money back so I can go to another furniture store and get a couch that’s not damaged.. He says they can’t give me back my money but they can loan me a love seat.. I said ok that should be fine even tho it’s smaller than what I purchased. He said they can pick me out one and bring it. I said no, I would like to pick out my own because I’ve already purchased certain colors to go with the couch I bought.. He goes you can’t just pick whatever you want.. So long story short, I told them that they are very unprofessional and I can hear someone in the background telling you what to say, I’m a paying customer and my daughter was going to purchase a bedroom set from your store and now I’m just very dissatisfied and you just lost 2 paying customers in the future.. So I’m telling this story so that if you decided to purchase anything from them, PLEASE PLEASE inspect it over COMPLETELY because you will either end up having to wait on a replacement or you will not be able to get your...
