After reading the reviews I decided to give it a try it was my husband birthday so I decided to take him here. First of we are familiar with Brazilian steakhouses and beside the one is Scranton this was the closest one which was just had a grand opening 3 days prior. We went on a Sunday evening reservation was at 5 pm
Pros :Nice ambience and atmosphere The peppered bacon and the corn soup on the salad bar was AMAZING
Cons: salad bar is the Only way to get vegetables
Soda is 4.95 (no refills) come in 16oz bottle with a glass of ice. As a matter of fact no refills on juices either which is $5.50. No grilled pineapple
The ridizio which is the the buffet part with all the meats the ONLY sides that is available is mashed potatoes, potatoes wedges, or a fried banana. Nothing healthy again unless you get the salad bar All the vegetables on the salad bar is RAW along with Pineapple and other exotic fruit
They have salmon that's included in the price. I don't know if it was because of the time we came 5pm (reservation) but we waited 45 minutes for one serving of salmon meanwhile we had numerous repeated waiters bringing us beef constantly, chicken, and pork once. I believe they bought us the entire cow before we got the salmon . When we did get the salmon finally it was a salmon STRIP like a grilled chicken strip that would go on a salad 😔 As much steak my husband loves he even got tired of it all. Many of the servers also don't speak English. They also don't have desserts.
All for $124 for 2 people it was for my husband birthday but I don't feel like it was enough.
Also in the men's restroom was regurgitating water from the drain in the floor we wont...
Read moreThis restaurant has been open for 1 month and we just found out about it yesterday. After looking on-line, we decided to try it at lunchtime as it is considerably lower in price. I feel I must say that even though the cost is lower, the service, food selection, and flavor was very high. I'd say, excellent, really. Along with the scrumptious green beans, asparagus and spicy bacon, (served cold from the salad bar), we sampled the following variety of meats: Filet, sirloin, flank, ribeye, pork ribs, bacon wrapped chicken, parmesan pork, sausage and a few other things, I forget what they were called. There was also lamb but we did not try that. My favorites were the filet and sirloin. YUM! My husband said the ribs may have had the best flavor he's ever had. We were served mashed potatoes and fried plantains and potatoe wedges and a nice puff pastry, as well. The boot clad, black dressed, Gaucho's came by frequently as long as the card on the table was flipped to YES. Management personnel also checked in, along with our server. There is a bar on premises for those who want a cocktail with their lunch or dinner. The food was yummy and the experience was delightful and for some reason, I was not at all bothered by the price on the check. I'm quite sure we'll be back. If we go in the evening or on the weekend, we'll be sure to make...
Read moreMy husband and I went for our 14th Anniversary. We have also been to Fogo de Chao in King of Prussia.
We both agreed the meat had better flavor and was cooked better than the meat we had at Fogo, however this place is much smaller and had many less options from the buffet/salad bar area.
Overall, the staff was very friendly but what hinders my rating and I am not sure if this was intentional or not, is they cleared our table and had us get to dessert sooner than we wanted.
We were there about an hour and thinking about getting maybe one more sliver of meat as we were taking our time to savor small portions and enjoy our night out celebrating. Someone different from our server came over and said since it’s our Anniversary, we get a dessert on the house. Great!
She proceeded to remove our clean plates that were just given to us, all our silverware and the meat cards.
I realize we could have spoken up, but we were both just kind of in shock it happened. I am not sure if they had another reservation and needed to get us out or if she thought we were done, but would have been nice to ask or say something first.
We were also going to order another drink but the vibe was kind of killed at that point. I am hoping that’s not the way they do business as I do not feel we overstayed our welcome in any way as in time...
