Firstly, as was stated in a review from earlier, the hours are inaccurate, signage on the door states that hours are from 10-5. Arrived at 4:45pm attempting to donate multiple boxes of clothing and bedding (sheets, and comforters). After following the "donations" arrows painted in the parking lot I arrived to an unmarked door and a dead-end with no useful information as to where donations were accepted. Attempted to ask personnel inside the store, and found that door was locked despite not yet being the closing time of 5pm. When I knocked on the door to ask my question (ie: what time and where are donations accepted) an employee inside motioned for me to "shoo" away from the door. When she did come to the door, and stated that they were closed (despite it still being 4:50 at this point) I tried asking my question and was told to go away. Tried to ask my question again when another patron left the store, and was met by an employee telling me to leave and that they weren't accepting donations anymore today (still no idea what times donations are accepted). Didn't appreciate that I was treated as if I was in the wrong when clearly the store was closed early, decided to donate items to a...
Read moreThis store has been getting hundreds of pieces of Zara items regularly.. currently 60% off the retail price. Can be interesting to hunt through- just be careful as most of it is damaged with rips or stains, or are clearly previously worn store returns. I did find one really great orange dress I'd probably never pay retail for due to the color but it was surprisingly cute and will be great for fall. It did have a small slice cut into it that I'll repair. Many of the other nice items had a broken zipper. I also found a cute kids linen suit and some cashmere pants. No damage.
They used to get some nice Quince home items like duvet covers and sheets, but it doesn't seem like they are receiving those anymore.
This store generally has the least number of good thrift items, compared to the other local thrift stores. I think they just don't get the volume of donations the other local thrifts get. That said there are still some gems to be found and it's easier to shop because the racks aren't jammed and disheveled like the...
Read moreThis is an update to my original positive review of this location. Unfortunately, my experience on 11/23/2024, around 3:30 PM, was disappointing. I was treated poorly by a young employee with long hair who was wearing a mask. His demeanor was rude and dismissive when I asked about an item, making the interaction unnecessarily unpleasant.
When I requested to speak with a manager, he refused to provide a contact or call someone to assist me. Instead, he suggested I "come back another time when someone else could help." When I asked for the managerâs name, he replied dismissively, "Her name is Kelly, and I donât know her last name."
This level of customer service falls short of expectations, and I strongly recommend additional training for this employee, particularly in communication and professionalism. I hope management takes this feedback seriously to ensure future customers receive the respectful service...
