Chicken Rico — Restaurant in Maryland

I come here because I love the food. With that being said tonight I went in for the usual and received very terrible customer service. If you don’t like your job quit! There is no reason for you to treat your customer the way I was treated tonight the male in the middle of the line was rushing me and not even letting me speak. I told him to slow it down he said I can’t I have people behind you, when it was just me and someone else in line and she was still placing her order. Then refused to give me rice and beans in the side. Stop hiring people that don’t want to work for you! On another note I asked all 3 of the employees there for the manager and no one would answer. So now I’m assuming this place is run by the employee there tonight which is a terrible idea because they can’t even provide guest with good customer service....

One of my favorite places in the DMV, I just love this place, and yes I get the same thing every time I go. My daughter and I get the half roast chicken, white rice topped with pinto beans, and the mixed salad with ranch dressing. The chicken is moist and slightly smoky from the charcoal, the pinto beans are slightly buttery atop the fluffy white rice. Lastly, the mixed green salad is fresh and crunchy with the slightly tangy ranch dressing. It comes with two sauces: yellow which is mild and creamy and the green which is spicy and refreshing. Did I mention I love the place “I’m loco for chicken Rico” don’t tell them...

Grabbed lunch here, half of chicken w/ 2 sides. Fries and Yuka, Yuka was drier than the desert of Qatar. Bulky looking dude with slick bar hair, gold bracelet is so rude/ ALWAYS has a little smirky attitude like bro relax lol you not flexing on no one. This dude has been working there for years, I did read another review saying they encountered a similar issue, something about the son of the owner, if that's the same dude I wouldn't be surprised. Food was okay nothing special would recommend Sardis before this hole in the wall spot. I've given it to many tries and it still don't...
