Firstly I would like to say I have been going to this thrift store, on occassion, for many years. The selection isn't always the greatest but every once in a while it's nice to stop in to see what they have. I am writing this review June 2025 after they have moved to their new building. I had really high hopes that once they moved the selection and pricing would be a little better.... The new building is a nicer, bigger and I was happy to see there's enough room to accommodate furniture which they didn't have room for in the old space. Unfortunately the selection of items aren't all that great still but hoping in time it may get better, however I was very disappointed in some of the pricing which I thought was pretty steep. I noticed vintage items and other items that may potentially be worth more ( which is not always the case) are priced pretty high. After all it is a thrift store and it's unfortunate to see places like this asking for ebay like...
Read moreI love this place, very unique inventory, I’ve been coming for years and recommend it friends all the time, however, whichever girl was working at the register around 3-4 PM today (4/6) accused me of stealing in the most bizarre and inappropriate way.
I completely understand loss prevention policies are important to small businesses with limited staff, and I understand a lot of young women my age likely come in to steal, but this was beyond ridiculous. I didn’t even have a bag on me, and was walking up to pay for an item when she made the accusation that I had stolen a bracelet! I really should have said something to her, but I wasn’t going to try to embarrass her in front of customers like she did to me.
I come here because this is a local, Christian business, get your employees in check and teach them to respect their local patrons, especially in this economy. Beyond...
Read moreWhile shopping today I witnessed something that broke my heart. I seen a man come in that was supposed to be given a jacket . The one they had picked out for the young man didn't work or fit him properly. They did have one that would fit but instead of giving him the jacket that would fit him they wanted to charge him $30 because as they said it was a nicer jacket. I watched the man walk out the store in a T- shirt . The young man went and sat at the bus stop to wait for the bus . I witnessed him being talked about as well. My son gave the young man a ride and I plan on trying to find him a jacket tonight that will work. After this I will not support or donate to this thrift store ever again. I also while I was there witnessed them throwing donations in the dumpster. So you can't give a jacket away but you can afford to throw...
