Dunham's Sports — Local services in Lansing

I’ve never left a bad review in my life or even taken the time to leave a review period but after experiencing the same horrible customer service for the 3rd time at Dunham’s in East Lansing, MI, I’m done. The only reason there’s one star is because no stars wasn’t an option. I have 3 teenage kids who all play multiple sports and I’ve bought most of their supply’s at Dunhams, until now. Each time I’ve gone in I’ve waited a long time without receiving service and had to seek it out myself, most of the time being brushed off because the employee stated they were already busy. They haven’t had the size shoes we need this whole year in any of the sports (wrestling, cheer, football or soccer). On top of that they never offered to see if another location has the size in stock. Today I finally asked if they would check and the guy told me it’s the same as if I called so I should just do it myself. Not only was he rude, I haven’t talked to a single worker who was pleasant. I don’t know what management is doing to make their employees such miserable people to deal with but I can promise I won’t spend another penny in that store, I give my money to people who are nice and care about my business and it’s clear Dunham’s could care less about...

I am writing to express my concern about the condition of the women’s restroom during my visit to your store today. When I entered, I was shocked to find urine all over the toilet and surrounding area, as though no effort had been made to clean up. It was so excessive that it seemed deliberate, not an accident. Considering your restrooms are not typically open to the public, it’s hard to believe this was caused by a customer. The fact that someone had to pass the men’s restroom to access the women’s makes me even more concerned that a staff member may be responsible. To make matters worse, there were no paper towels, and the soap dispenser was unusable, sitting out of place on the counter. This is not only unpleasant but creates an unhygienic and unsafe environment for customers and employees. I also noticed a “Now Hiring” sign in your window, but frankly, conditions like these do not reflect a workplace that values cleanliness, professionalism, or respect for women. Horrible, that is how my experience was. I purchased several hundred of dollars in items went out to my car on a 90ﾟ day and took the drink of my Coke that I just purchased seen it was 9 months expired with polar bears on it in August. The sorry excuse of a manager Daron told me that I took more than a sip and he wasn't gonna return it. Apparently a sip is what you do when its 90 out and you're thirsty. Who sips coke? whats the standard level of a sip? Store looks like it just got looted, dirty, empty shelves, months of trash on floor and he said they clean nighty hahaha haha.
