My fiancee and I came in 20 minutes before the weekly College Night event on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 and we were invited to wait a little bit so we were able to have unlimited bowling and laser tag for only $8 each. I wanted to check out the arcade so I appreciate the woman at the desk letting us know.
While we waited we went to the arcade. I had a little bit of trouble with the 'coin' machine but the fault was my own since I'm quite used to just putting money in and getting tokens out. Once we realized we needed to select options on the screen it went a lot smoother. Having a single card to swipe at each station was pretty cool and a lot more convenient then carrying around a pocket full of change like I had to do so many times as a child. You only need one card if you are able to stay together and it can be used for the multi-player games as well as single player.
As with any arcades, you are able to win tickets that are redeemable at any time for a wide selection of prizes. Most games will automatically add your tickets to the card you swipe but for those that give you physical tickets, these can be fed into a machine near to the prize counter and transferred to your card.
When it was time to get our bowling shoes and be directed to a lane the line at the main counter was getting long but we were quickly ushered into a separate line and we had everything we needed within a minute of getting in line.
The lane and scoreboard are easy to set up and customizable. You have all the basic options from choosing the order of the players, skipping a player, correcting scores, and if you want to have bumpers or not.
The lane we were on (lane 15) had a few hiccups in that it didn't clear all of the pins in preparation of the next player but it did correct itself when we were able to knock all of the pins down ourselves. This is something I have seen at every bowling ally I've been too and doesn't happen enough to give a low score. My fiancee and I just bowl for fun and regularly get bellow a score of 100 per game so I can not comment on the quality of the lanes or how well they are taken care of. The comment from "Dan DanDanDan" says they aren't up to par but Its hard to believe a 1 star rating and very little detail to his review.
I do have to agree with Brandon Harris on the point that the food service was slow. It being a weekly College Night event they should be prepared and have an extra waiter on hand. We ordered the nachos and were shocked at the size of it as there was easily enough there for 3 or 4 people and we were expecting a single portion like you get at most places. Here is the description of the nachos from the menu (that we failed to look at) on the website:
Ultimate Nacho Platter - Big enough to share! Seasoned beef loaded on fresh tortilla chips and topped with cheese, tomatoes, jalapeno peppers, onion, salsa, lettuce and sour cream on the side.
For only $10 after tax it really is a great deal and the waiter was kind enough to give us a box to take it home in.
In all it was a great night and we plan to return soon. There is still so much to do including sand volleyball, laser tag, and a...
Read moreI went bowling with some friends that live in the area that I haven’t seen in a while. When we got there, we couldn’t determine if we wanted 2 or 3 hours of time for myself and 5 other friends. The guy at the desk said, start with 2 and we can always add another if you need it, so that is what we did. We also got the private room because everything else was booked. Our server was awesome and was working really hard trying to attend 8 full lanes so I don’t blame her for the slow service, that wasn’t the issue. We ordered a bunch of food beginning of our second game and we got it towards the end of the game which is when our 2 hours wrapped up. I went to the desk and asked for a 3rd hour and the ‘Assistant Manager’ scoffed and said, ‘Too Bad, your lane is about to be taken’. I was thrown off because we were spending a lot of money on food and drinks and just got our food and are telling me we gotta go? I then said what about our food? He said ‘take it to go’ and walked off. I voiced that concern and asked if I could speak to a manager. A different guy who was very nice paged something over his walkie and then said we could get another hour but we would have to change lanes. Fine, that will work, no biggie. I paid for the extra hour and walked back to my group. Here is when stuff became unacceptable. As our group was changing lanes, the ‘assistant manger’ who gave me attitude at the desk, Jon Eins(something) turned to our server in front of all of us and said out loud, “If that Ahol* gives you any st, let me know and I’ll take care of him”. Wow, we were so nice our server and tipped her well because she was busting her butt working 30+ people alone. I was offended and outraged as a customer to her him say something like that right in front of us. I then asked our server to bring us the manager. 5 minutes go by and Jon comes with a piece of paper, smacks it on the table and says angrily “You got something to say? Write away” and left. At this point I was growing impatient and before We decided to leave, Bill the Manager comes out and talks to me. I let Bill know about how good our server was and all the problems we had with Jon. Bill was very kind and listened , believed, apologized and thanked us for coming in. The type of thing good managers do. Even squared things away with us for the issues (won’t get into how). If it wasn’t for Bill and our server I would’ve given 1 star. At the end of the day, I know this guy Jon will still be working there and I don’t want to go back because of him, I may call in advanced to see if he is working on a night I visit my friends again, but if they say yes, I won’t...

Entered the place no one at the desk, I ran into a manager named Pete he said one second I'll get someone for you, That never happened so saw a big guy at Laser tag asked him and said he will find someone,he went in some room & a woman came out & passed us with a dirty look.
She was eating fries & a drink and when she got to the table I was letting her know how many shoes, games we wanted & she put up one finger as she was giving me the I'm busy right now & chewing her food, which was disgusting because there was food on her shirt.
As we were leaving she was out front talking on her phone about how she doesn't get paid enough & the working environment is terrible and if she doesn't get a raise soon she's quitting.
(This woman has no respect for her employees, customers and only cares about herself)
Second Problem [Peter]
I came in with a guy friend & 3 girls, we all got around for bowling & when we were done the girls wanted to use the restroom and when they came back told me this Peter guy followed them and talked about giving them 2 free games of bowling, I said that's cool so we played and while we were playing this guy literally was 20 feet from us would not stop watching us, One of my friends went to go get a drink and he followed her and she said it was creepy he wouldn't leave her alone and she didn't wanna leave the place alone in fear he might follow her out there. Plus It was even creepier when we left and he was doing the exact same thing to another woman offer her free stuff.
(This is completely unacceptable especially as a Manager, Your job is to manage not stalk women)

Playing Laser tag with this big dude and quiet fella I forgot their names but they had us laughing like crazy and even challenged me in a 1 on 1 basketball session which I won!
All in all I...
