They have a second location in Bradenton.
So it would seem that unlike a lot of other thrift stores this is a for profit business not a non profit, although they say they support the American Cancer Society. In any case you get more of a discount store feel than that of a traditional thrift store. This place is huge with tons of clothes, shoes, accessories, books, furniture, sports equipment, home goods, electronics, and art. Prices seemed a bit high but they have a tag system where you can score an extra discount. On the day I visited purple tags were an additional 50 percent off, Yellow tags 25 percent off and pink tags 25 percent off. Furniture was 15 percent off. Unfortunately I didn't score any great tag sales but I did buy a bag of Happy Meal toys for $2 to throw in the class treasure box. They have a lot of inventory so it was fun to...

Jacky leads an amazing team of dedicated employees who are always ready to assist and ensure that every customer feels welcome. Itās evident that she fosters a positive and motivated environment, which shines through in the service and care the staff provide.
The store itself is well-organized and offers a fantastic selection of items. Whether youāre looking for clothing, home goods, or unique treasures, Good Life Super Thrift has it all! I particularly appreciate how easy and convenient the shopping experience isāeverything is clearly labeled and easy to navigate, making it a breeze to find what I need.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreDon't be fooled by how big it is - this store is a horrible place. Everything has security tags on it and they treat you like a thief from the moment you walk in. I'm a cancer survivor who has always supported the ACS, I've raised significant money for ACS through Relay for Life and have donated frequently to an ACS thrift store in San Diego. I have been dealing with severe chronic symptoms, so I went here for something fun to cheer me up - I found a happy, smiling goat plushie and brought him up to the register. The woman there was old and angry, she looked at the plush and said "There's no tag, I can't sell this" and threw him behind her register before I could blink. I asked if they could price him and she said no in the nastiest tone you can imagine. I started to feel very ill and had to crouch down at the register for a minute, and she didn't care even the slightest bit.
It was a plushie, something that could not have cost more than a few dollars at most, but rather than do the right thing, she chose to harm a chronically ill cancer survivor, the very people this store is supposed to support.
This is a horrible place that should not exist, and the ACS should be ashamed of themselves for putting their name on it. I will never be returning here and will not be donating the significant amount of items I was preparing for them. Stay far, far away from this nasty place and the nasty people...
