Read moreMusic needs turned down some, it's hard to hear other people talk. My son and I were helping at a booth and the loudness gave him a headache and made him irritable. He has high functioning autism and has come a long ways but that was his limit, he said he didn't want to help again. But other than that it was great! I enjoyed a pancake breakfast and saw a friend I hadn't seen in maybe 7 years! The atmosphere was so pleasant with everyone getting along. The smells were glorious. I really loved seeing the community enjoying each other. I was only there during the day though. I have no idea what happened...
Read moreWe didn't even make it into the park!! My boyfriend is in a wheelchair. We had 6 kids with us, and as we were on the sidewalk crossing the road, the front wheel of his wheelchair hit a pot hole. As he tried to manuver out of the hole, he hit another hole, just a few inches from the first hole, and he fell out of his chair. Paramedics and police were called. He left in an ambulance. 8 hours later, he found out that his hip was broken. What was supposed to be a fun day ended with 6 kids being upset, a broken hip, a lot of pain, surgery, and many, many, many months to recover. Do better, Lapeer!!! Fix...
