Marshalls — Local services in Lapeer

My mother and I both really like Marshalls. I came here the other day and got some beautiful items for my place. They have a great selection of home decor, kitchen appliances, bedding, rugs.. really any thing you can think of, they have it and all for a fraction of the price. I particularly like to get my hair and skin products here, it is always good quality and things that you don't find at normal department stores. I recommend shopping their beauty sections. I also get my pet things here, pet beds/wash and dish bowls etc. Clothing, handbags and shoes are very nice here also. After two years of using the same purse (also from Marshalls) and MANY compliments later, I got a brand new one recently for $15 and it's so comfortable. I'm happy with my purchases each time...

I love Marshall's because it's fun. Inventory changes everyday, while staying the same, clothes, shoes, purses, beauty supplies, kitchenware, bed and bath, food, cookware, stationary, candles, framed "art"and even furniture (hit or miss) Did I forget to mention a pet section? And toys and gadgets? Giving away my age but I buy all my readers here. The back East wall is great for home decorating finds, baskets, and knick knacks. You never know what you'll find! It's NOT the place to go if you have a specific item in mind. But you'll find top names at great prices and I've never encountered a rude employee or guest....

Overall, the store was great—clean, well-stocked, and everything was in order. I did receive interaction and explanations when needed, but there was no warmth or smile during the exchange. It felt purely transactional, which took away from the experience.

If I could give 3.5 stars, I would. Customer service sets the tone. Even if everything else is perfect, a lack of genuine friendliness can make the atmosphere feel off. On the other hand, great customer service can make up for a lot.
