Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Lapeer

By far our worst meal at this location and most likely our last. We dined in for the 2nd time,in the past 5 weeks here. We thought then that possibly it was bad luck to dine in,and our meal then was over cooked and our portions were small,especially compared to the end price was around$15 for 2 adults...no desserts either, so today,we tried again, and couldn't believe the onion rings we were given, they were burnt completely, and falling apart.The chicken strips meal looked like I ordered off the childrens menu, they forgot about my Ranch dipping sauce, so back up to the counter to order another onion rings,replacing the burnt ones. Upon coming back to our table, these were worse than the 1st order, the batter was all we tasted as in one bite/crunch,there was no onion flavor at all. We looked at eachother with complete disappointment, just paying over $13 for a complete waste of food and money,agreeing that this was the worst food Ever and most definitely we will be writing a review,from our experience with the Lapeer Michigan Dairy Queen. Imlay City D.Q. on the other hand has the BEST grilled burgers,fries, onion rings around. Maybe something good may come of this posting, but in the meantime,we will not waste our time or money at this...

I was literally asked at the fast food window what I was doing or if I needed something after I literally just paid at the same window with my card. They also made me pay additional "made up" fees to get my "not" free meal from the frequency cards where you buy 5-6 meals then get one free. False advertisement and fraud at this location. Also been ordering 6 chicken strips for over 12 months here or at least 50 orders and suddenly they try to charge me 4$ more dollars with no reason or explanation what changed. The managers never look even 18 or old enough to work, act professional or care about their job, listen to a word you say, and never try to help or be a manager. Complete incompetence at this location specifically. For the record DQ is and still is my fav fast food chain, just not going to this location again after so many negative experiences for some...

Awful service by the young women who work here. I've never seen a lazier group of girls. The two guys behind the counter, one older gentleman and one younger were the only two people moving and doing their job. The girl running the drive-thru, stood with her butt on the window facing into the store, sucking on a straw of a giant fountain pop staring at all of the customers in the lobby for a straight 20min doing absolutely nothing while her female coworkers stood around and stared into space chit-chatting. It was the strangest experience at a dairy queen I've ever had. Mind you, it was the busiest day of the week as it was the 1st day of spring and they were giving away free cones. So if the owner cares, this was on March 20th, your closing shift. You should seriously just watch the camera and view your drive-thru staff that evening. Embarrassing to...
