Tensai — Restaurant in Laredo

Came here about a week ago and let me tell you the sushi I ate here is absolute trash do not I repeat DO NOT order FRESH ROLLS stay AWAY from the FISH! I ordered the rainbow and was so disappointed. I’ve visited a year ago and it was actually decent, I always order rainbow roll. Not only did it look un pleasing this time, the taste was awful so Un fresh and bad after taste. I left unsatisfied with more than half the sushi on the plate. I guess they got a careless chef now. If you’re looking for a decent sushi place in Laredo I recommend Posh Sushi and grill. This was my first time visiting Tensai. First of all, I really enjoyed the whole ambience of the place, the lights, the fixtures, the decorations. Everything was really nice, I would consider a nice spot for a romantic sushi date for dinner time. The food it self was also super good. The service was okay, but to be fair it seems like they were short-staffed at the moment. The rolls tasted super fresh, and the presentation was practically perfect. Most everyday good food and beverages, however if you go on a Sunday, after 2pm, be prepared to find 2-3 families departing on one big table with looooots of children!! Parents on their merry dialogues and children unsupervised making all the noise in the world, with absolute disregard for the rest of the guests.
