Terrible customer service! Heyli checked me out on a Saturday night & didn’t give me all of my items (I purchased multiple clothing pieces, 3 waters & 3 ginger chews my husband likes, totaling about $130). I realized the next day I didn’t have the ginger chews, called the store & was told to come in & bring my receipt so they could check the cameras. I did this & was told I must have misplaced the items because I was given all of the items. I DO NOT HAVE THEM!! The items were $3.99 each so was it really worth it to lose a long time customer over $12?! Nelson I believe was the manger working that day, 9/28. He is who I spoke to & who told me I misplaced them as if he was with me when I purchased them. I’ve checked all the bags which was 2 bags that Heyli gave me -1 with the clothing & 1 with the waters. I assumed the ginger chews were with the clothes since they were placed on the counter first when I checked out. I will be returning the $130 worth of things I purchased 9/27 & contacting corporate about this issue. They could’ve not wasted my time having me come to the store just to tell me they wouldn’t make it right. I genuinely wanted the items which is why I bought them to begin with. That could’ve been done over the phone. Now I’m out my $ & time, unbelievable! Nelson even told me he’d issue a refund & didn’t follow through with that, again wasting my time. The customer service is a huge issue at this location if you read the reviews. Disappointing is an understatement & it’s not about...
Read moreI am a regular shopper of Burlington stores and have never ever had an issue until today 2/23/25 At approximately 11:30 am. I went into the store like I usually do to look around and see what they have. Sometimes, I find something, sometimes I don’t. Needless to say, I was walking around browsing and suddenly realized that I was being watched by security and/or staff. This has NEVER happened to me. At first i thought i was imagining things, because why would they be watching me? It wasn’t until i walked to the next aisle and overheard them talking about me. Saying now, “I needed to buy something because she knows we are watching her..” Excuse me?? I have never felt so uneasy and upset walking around a store as I did in that moment. Does your staff really have nothing else better to do on a Sunday morning other than follow innocent shoppers around accusing them of shoplifting? I will never step foot in this store or any other Burlington store ever again. Corporate really needs to know how their staff is treating their patrons.
Additionally, Reagan was one of the supervisors “watching me” and made sure she was up at the registers when I did eventually purchase my items. Telling me to have a great day with her fake smile and condescending tone. Absolutely disgusting...
Read moreI am writing to share a deeply concerning experience I had at your store on January 23, 2025.
During my visit, I witnessed unprofessional and inappropriate behavior from a manager, whose name I believe is Regan (with auburn hair at the time).
The incident occurred when a team member asked her a question from about 10 feet away. The manager screamed, “STOP TALKING, MORE WORKING! YOU CAN TALK AND WORK AT THE SAME TIME.” This outburst was so loud and abrupt that it startled me and other shoppers, making us think a fight might have broken out.
This behavior was not only unprofessional but also publicly humiliating for the employee, who, despite the situation, maintained a positive demeanor and assisted my family with our checkout. I commend her professionalism in the face of such treatment.
However, I find it highly inappropriate for a manager to behave in this manner, especially in front of customers. Managers should set an example and foster a respectful workplace, not create a hostile environment.
I hope Burlington takes this matter seriously and addresses the situation appropriately. No employee or customer should have to experience such behavior.
Thank you for your time...
