I just got back from getting my nails done and my experience was so awesome I decided to complete a review sooner than later. We moved about 7 months ago and the drive to my old place was getting to be too much so I decided to try something new. As soon as I walked in, there was laughter and talking between me and the entire staff. They made me feel so welcome and valued, not a bother or a stranger that other places I tried made me feel. There was no yelling, "what you want, pick a color" as I am sure all you ladies out there know what I am talking about. They politely and with enthusiasm asked what I would like today and if this was my first time here. Some one helped me right away and I am so happy with the man I got. His name is Tony and he was excellent. Happy, upbeat and friendly personality. Thru out the entire time of getting my long nails put back on we held a conversation that came very easy, like old friends. The other employees also would make me a part of their conversations as well which made me feel so welcome. Tony continually checked to make sure that I was happy with the process, whether it was the length or thickness, he always asked and you could tell he really wanted me to, not like but love, the ending product and made me so at ease to be able to actually tell him shorter or thinner. My husband arrived and the owner Kristina made him feel so welcome while he waited with me. He decided to have her give him a pedicure while waiting and the one thing I have to say, he said it was the best one he has ever gotten. Pay for the deluxe one, it was so worth it at $40. Tons of massaging of the calf and feet. I opted myself to have a pedicure when done but didn't want him to wait so paid for the $25 one which was still absolutely fabulous and a very lengthy massage as well. The other thing that was fabulous is we were offered a soda, water or glass of wine while getting the pedicure. The entire building is new and so is all the equipment. One of the best things is there are no surprises or pressure. When they offer to add on an item such as dry skin removal, callus removal, buffing etc...they state the additional cost at the same time. I actually opted for one of those since it was only $3 more and I am pleased with my decision. I know this is a long review however I haven't been to any place in such a long time that was as friendly, nice, welcoming and clean as this one so I wanted to make sure I got it all out. Their prices beat every other place I have gone too which is an even bigger plus. I am sure all the other staff do as excellent as Tony does but he is my guy from now on, and not bad on the eyes either, LOL...Thank you LG Nail and Spa, we look forward to visiting you regularly going forward and for a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe greatest thing & only reason I come here is for Yusimi. Sheās been my nail tech for 2 years and sheās the BEST. To be fair - my nail tech does not take appointments, itās not an issue for me as I will come when the salon opens. I travel for work, recently Iāve been in south Florida and I drive 3-4 hours to see her. I always call and check to make sure sheās here, or how best to plan my schedule to see her. The owner knows that I will not see anyone else, weāve had this conversation before in a similar situation. I called last week to check the days my tech would be in the salon, he told me she would be here working Wednesday. I planned time off of work so I could be here before flying to another state for work. I called Tuesday to confirm that sheād be here today (Wednesday) just because sometimes things change and because I was going to be getting up and leaving the house before 6am I wanted to be sure. He told me yes and that he would see me tomorrow. On my way I hit some traffic, I called a little after 8:40am to let him know I was still coming and he said my tech would be there between 9:15-9:30am. I arrived at 9:35am he greeted me told me she would be here in a minute and had me sit at her table. About 10 min passed and he said heād call her. I spoke with her at this time also to find out that the owner already knew she wasnāt going to be here. Then he just says that sheās not coming and I can see someone else. This was a money grab. He couldāve told me yesterday or this morning and I wouldāve changed my schedule around to match hers, instead he waited until I was in the salon to tell me she wasnāt coming. I explained to him for the 100th time that I would not see someone else and that he couldāve told me when I called an hour prior and he brushed it off and said āwell someone else is availableā. He did not attempt to rectify or take any accountability for the situation and even as I was leaving didnāt say goodbye or offer any alternative solution. This is not the first experience Iāve had with him similar to this. I LOVE my nail tech and Iām sure the other techs are great too, but I would never give this place my money if she wasnāt there, solely based...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCustomer service was lousy. The man working there was incredibly rude to me but extremely nice to my friend who is ethnic. It felt blatantly racist. I wanted a dip French ombre. The girl doing my nails could not speak English, so she did not understand what I was requesting. Once she put the dip powder on (gloppy and thick after I asked for thin), she then asked what color. I told her French ombre which someone else had to translate, and then they said they could not do it because the dip was already on...? After another girl working there basically walked her through how to do it, she used the dremel to grind down the dip and my nail till I could feel my skin through my nail. (I've added a photo 1 month later if how damaged my nails still are from this. You can see where the healthy nails have grown out, and the part she destroyed that is so thin you can see my pink skin through it. )
She attempted to do the dip in French ombre and it was clearly her first time doing it. They were gloppy, thick and none of the tips were even lengths and very fat squares while I prefer coffin shape. My dip started peeling back after 2 days. My gel pedicure chipped and flaked within 3 days. Usually, a gel pedicure lasts me 3 weeks. This was by far the worst mani/pedi experience I've ever had. The prices weren't cheap, which I don't mind if I get a good quality service. But this was garbage and not worth a dime. I will obviously not go back. If you would like to keep your nails and not have them ground down paper thin, do not go here. They will not have many repeat customers if there aren't any nails left...
