I am writing to formally express my disappointment and frustration regarding my recent experience at your location.
On Saturday evening, I came through the drive-thru twice, and on both occasions, I received a salad that incorrectly contained bacon. I have ordered this salad many times in the past, and it is not normally made with bacon, which makes this mistake particularly concerning.
After the second incorrect order, I returned again and exchanged it. On Sunday morning, I came into the restaurant to speak to a manager in person, hoping for a resolution. Unfortunately, the experience escalated unnecessarily. The manager accused us of not returning the initial salad, which was both upsetting and untrue. We respectfully asked her to review the camera footage, as we are certain the salad was returned and handled appropriately. She eventually acknowledged checking the initial salad.
When I expressed a desire to speak with the owner, the manager told me I was not allowed to do so, which felt dismissive and unprofessional.
Thankfully, my vehicle records footage, and I am in the process of gathering video evidence to support my claim. It is deeply disappointing to be treated as if I were dishonest when the fault was on your end — twice. The situation has caused unnecessary stress, and the way it was handled was completely unacceptable.
I am requesting that this matter be taken seriously and addressed by upper management or the owner, as I would like to speak directly with someone in charge. Please let me know the best...
Read moreThe guy in the blue shirt was helpful. The lady in the red shirt was friendly. The bacon burger was okay. The sweet potato fries were okay. In general, the food was okay. I'd rather go to Checker's, Wendy's, or even Culver's before going back to The Habit.
The worst part of my bacon cheeseburger was the bacon. When I bit into the sandwich, my teeth/bite stopped at the hard layer of bacon. At one point, I was concerned about chipping my tooth on the bacon. I'm not sure how bacon can be so hard, yet not at all brittle or crispy.
I thought that for a little bit more money than the double char that the BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger would have double patties, but I was wrong; there was only one thin patty in my burger. The patty itself seemed fine, though I thought there might be more.
The bun was soft and seemed fresh. The temperature was as expected (warm for the meat and cheese, and slightly chilled for the tomato and lettuce). The barbecue sauce got the job done, though I won't be buying it by the bottle.
I prefer hot and crispy fries, whether they are sweet potato or not, and these fries were warm and soft. I think some people enjoy them like that, though I'd prefer to take them home and put them in my air fryer for about 4 minutes. I didn't realize fries cost $4 these days.
My wife thought about getting a shake, then decided $5 was too much to spend on a fast food shake.
For paying nearly $10 for a bacon cheeseburger, I would recommend going to Five Guys or a different...
Read moreWife and I went yesterday to the East Bay location. Customer service was on point, and excellent.
We both ordered the portobello burger meal. It was no longer of a wait for our food than a fast food restaurant. The difference? This was made fresh and you could tell. It wasn't precooked and pulled from a warmer.
Toppings are caramelized onions, portobello mushrooms, cheese, shredded lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, and garlic aoli. Personally the garlic aoli was a little to strong.
The burger was cooked medium well with a very thin line of pink in the middle. It was very juicy.
The fries were well salted, although not really crisp. That was a slight disappointment but nothing to cry over. The wife got onion rings and loved them. It was a dollar upcharge.
They had ketchup, ranch, and a spicy red pepper sauce for dipping. That red pepper sauce is something else. You don't really taste any heat but just flavor at first. Then about 30 seconds later that heat hits. Its not overly hot. But it is a noticeable heat. I'm guessing that sauce is made in the store as there were fresh tiny slivers of red peppers in the sauce.
I can understand why they named it Habit. Those burgers you could eat every day! Their not anymore expensive than any other fast food...
