I recently had an extremely disappointing experience on October 15th at Ultimate Nails and Beauty salon. I had permanent lip makeup done by Ms. Tiffany, and it has been a week since the procedure. Regrettably, my lips have sustained severe damage and are still swollen, causing me considerable pain. This discomfort has made it challenging for me to eat, sleep, or drink properly due to an infection and scarring. I am currently on medication to alleviate the pain.
The artist failed to adequately inform me of the potential challenges associated with the procedure and rushed me through the consent form without allowing me time to read it carefully. Throughout the procedure, the pain was so excruciating that I found myself in tears. Instead of showing empathy and understanding, Ms. Tiffany responded unprofessionally by slapping my hands and telling me to stop crying like a baby. This not only added to my physical discomfort but also showcased a severe lack of professionalism. Furthermore, my manicure, also done by Ms. Tiffany, resulted in damage to my fingers and ultimately an infection. It was evident that her tools were neither new nor properly sanitized. In light of this distressing experience, I sought advice from other specialists, checked references, and consulted YouTube videos. While it is usually expected for such procedures to heal within a week, my lips are still swollen and problematic. Now, I have been informed that it will take up to six weeks to fully recover. If I had been properly informed before the procedure about the extensive recovery process, including restrictions on brushing my teeth, exercising, and consuming spicy or oily foods, I would have reconsidered undergoing the procedure. The lack of this crucial information prior to the procedure is deeply disappointing. This has been my first and worst experience, and I deeply regret ever stepping foot into this establishment. I genuinely hope to spare others from going through a similar ordeal and, therefore, I strongly discourage anyone from patronizing this salon. It is evident that they lack the professionalism and proper licensing required for such services. My immediate concern is addressing the scarring and infection, and I am planning to consult a...
Read moreI called this morning asking if they do BLONDE semi permanent eyebrows because my hair is blonde they said yes itâs $250 for the service. I get there and Tiffany says she has the blonde dye for the eyebrows but believes it wouldnât sit right with my skin. I told her I need the LIGHTEST shade of brown/blonde to match my hair. She kept trying to convince me to darker my blonde hair to match the color SHE thinks goes well with my skin. She numbed my eyebrows, the power went out for an hour, once the power came back on she started tattooing my eye brows WITHOUT them being numb. After literally an hour in excruciating pain someone walks into to see her eyebrow service, she lies and tells the new client âit doesnât hurt at allâ.I kept asking her I want to see my eyebrows because I wanna make sure itâs done right, she kept reassuring me itâs fines after itâs all said and done the eyebrowsARE NOT AS They appear on Instagram. Looks like a kid shaded them in. I gave her the $250 because she already completed the service but itâs INCORRECT. Iâm doing a bank dispute to get my money back OR Only charge me for $150 since Tiffany did a terrible job
Update:
I added an update pic, the eyebrows are UNEVEN. It looks like someone just roughly shaded inside of a box, doesnât look like actual hair at all. She also chopped off most of my natural eyebrow hairs so itâs noticeableâŚ..
Update after coming here in feb/march:
I have to constantly draw in my eyebrows because theyâre uneven. Thereâs no gradient style to the shading ..just a huge black square. The lady blocked me on Instagram and phone number so she wouldnât have to fix my eyebrows
There are so many better shops out there that actually does gradient work not give you a huge rectangle on your face unless you like...
