Lidl — Local services in Largo

I was excited to go to this new location. The bakery was good. I've had a bad experience in the past with getting produce from Lidl. On my recent visit to the store I decided to purchase some produce, thinking that it will be okay because the store was new. But I was disappointed, I purchased 2 heads of cauliflower but the bin of cauliflower had a lot units that had spots on them. I purchased the 2 best ones as I was cooking them for dinner that same night. I purchased a pineapple that was a big disappointment, when I cut into the product the inside of the fruit was rotten. I purchased an avocado and 2 days later it turned black. I even got some frozen corn that was not good as well. I do like to get cheese, milk and eggs from Lidl, but I think I'll decline buying produce...

Security guard was extremely rude and nasty. I had just come out the store with my daughter and realized I forgot one thing so I turn around and try to walk back in (at this point its 8:52 and they close at 9) he stepped in front of me aggressively and said I couldn't come back in. I calmly explained that I had literally just walked out and I forgot one thing. He continued being rude and blocked the entry way. I asked for his name and he refused to give it me (he was very rude and nasty about that as well). This was my first time at this location and even though it's 3 minutes from my house, I will not be returning. I will continue going to the Bowie and Greenbelt location where the staff AND security personnel are pleasant...

Went to the opening. Everything was fresh and fully stocked. The store was clean and the workers are friendly. My only dislike about this particular location is the location of the self-checkout. There was not enough room while leaving the self-checkout because there's another lane right beside it, blocking it with a cart if someone is checking out at the same time. Great opening and can't wait to visit again in the future. Happy to have another Lidl in the area....
