Terrible Chic-fil-A. I’m going back to Largo where I’m treated like a customer. 1 star because the lemonade was good. This location has been open probably a little more than a month and we are already off to a bad start. Service 1 star because they have two lanes for drive-thru and ONE worker bouncing between the two lines. Then even though I was waiting longer, the customer on the right drive-thru was mad because he drove right up on his line and no one was there to place his order, so he essentially cut me and the car before me even though he came after us, but picked the empty line.
I ordered the #4 3-count tenders with a large fry and medium lemonade no ice. Please see the picture of the large fries that I received and determine if this is a large fries or a small. Also, after receiving little to no fries they were cold. The chicken tenders were also cold. Before I left the location I asked for 5 honey mustard sauces. I was only given 2 and was told that their location only gave two sauces per MEAL. I don’t use ketchup for my fries, I use honey mustard. How can two sauces be used for an entire meal, especially when the app allows you the max of 5, which is reasonable.
This restaurant is 2 minutes from my home (so proves my point about cold fries-I wasn’t in the car long enough for them to get cold, if that’s what you were thinking), but from now on I will go to Largo which is about 10 minutes. Just on principle. I also have a friend who experienced the same issue with cold fries at this location.
They need to bring their training staff back for help. Not my first time here waiting for longer than normal periods for Chic-fil-A. Maybe I won’t get gyped with my food because upper management will have a...
Read moreI guess all good things must come to an end. My past experiences at Balk Hill had been great. But I guess if certain super stars aren't available I should turn around. But, my most recent experience was the last time they will get a penny from me. I placed my order as I normally do through mobile app to pickup through carry out. It took a while to get our order (carry out or drive thru always slow). Once received, I checked my order to verify if the items were correct they weren’t. They immediately corrected but then I noticed I requested 2 dressings for my full entree size salads. Brought that to their attention and was told it was now their policy to only offer one dressing per salad. I’m like okay, so I can order 2 in the app and only get one, correct? I was told yes and that I would need to pay for the second dressing. I told them absolutely not and left the restaurant.
Contacted CFA Cares line, who was shocked by my experience and apologized. But explained to me that each restaurant is independently owned and that although that was not the CFA experience they would like me to have they would forward the details to management. In that moment is when I decided I will never return to Balk Hill location and have told all of my friends and family to do the same. I would rather drive twenty minutes away from my house to receive better customer service than what I received at this location. I have never experienced this issue at any other location other than here. If that’s the way they handle salads, I guess people that are getting side salads are getting over and should be offered half a packet...
Read moreThis was hands down the worst Chick-fil-A experience I’ve ever had. When I pulled up, the employee handed me a tray of drinks (Oreo milkshake, frosted lemonade, and Sprite), tilted it, and dumped the entire thing all over me and inside my car. Her response? A quick “oh sorry” and nothing else until I had to ask for napkins. I sat there drenched and sticky, cleaning myself up, while multiple employees just stood around watching. Not one person — not even a manager — came out to properly apologize or make the situation right.
While I was trying to clean myself up, the guy in the car behind me even said, “That’s foul, you should at least get your meal comped.” And he was right. But instead of offering anything, the employee came back and actually asked me, “Do you want me to remake the drinks?” Of course I wanted them remade — they had just been spilled all over me.
When they finally brought the drinks, the employee then asked, “Do you need anything else?” What do you mean do I need anything else? Yes — my food. They had completely lost my order and nearly gave it to someone else. I waited another few minutes before finally getting it, only to find my fries already cold.
For a company that prides itself on great service, this was absolutely unacceptable. Mistakes happen, but the complete lack of urgency, accountability, and care was shocking. No manager ever came out, no real apology, no offer to comp or refund the meal — just me left sitting in a sticky car with cold food. Extremely disappointing, and I won’t be returning to...
