I made an appointment at Polished because I wanted to get a really nice gel manicure. The girl I got was so sweet but was also so new. My manicure looked terrible. She didn’t clean up my cuticles, my polish was thick and lumpy, and there were even parts of my nail that weren’t covered with any polish at all. I was so disappointed. The owner Lainie checked me out and charged me full price. The same amount she charges for her more experienced nails techs. She was nice but didn’t even look at my nails or seem to care how my experience was. I feel like if you are going to have someone new doing nails you should let your guests know and they shouldn’t be charged the same price as if they were going to a more experienced tech. I got an eyelash lift and tint a day before Halloween, it lasted for about a week and then my eyelashes moved in every directions possible and only my left eye had the tint. I called in November( it was 3 weeks in) and I had informed the girls who answered what a horrible eyelash lift I got. I had informed her that I tried to fix them as much as I could but I couldn’t stand it anymore. I asked her to please have the lady who did them to call me back and she never did. This place is not worth your time. I got my nails done by a newish nail tech and her design was incredible probably the only reason I would give it a star. The owner is biased and from further research refunded someone else rather than me for the same reason their money was refunded. My nails started coming off the day after I had them done and continued to popped off another 3 days after that. I have paid $68 for nails that lasted 1 week... and I was in the wrong because I didn't call the owner within the week even though I had contacted the nail tech the day after. I will never go here again and I advise others...
