I’ve been a life long customer of Dairy Queen. I never encountered a problem with any other location in multiple states until now. First time I went to this location on N Tenaya. Renovations were going on at this time, and the store remained open for business. This location definitely has a very odd smell to it. I bought one of the cakes that was in the refrigerated show case. I noticed that the container had a plastic smell to it. Well when I got home and ate a piece of the cake I tasted something odd about it. The ice cream also tasted like plastic or chemical. To the manager or owner who replies to other people posting reviews advising them to call the store so that we may remedy the situation! Well I’ve tried calling the store on multiple occasions to let them know about this issue, and no one ever picks up and the recording advises people to place their orders on line. They left me no choice except to call corporate to let them know that possibly some sort of chemical from the ongoing construction may have tainted some of the store’s product. 2 weeks later I took the cake back to this location to advise them in person about what I had experienced. The girl behind the counter said I have to call my manager to see if I could exchange this for another cake. She came back and told me her manager said since I already callled the corporate offices that they could not take this cake back, and that I would have to deal with corporate for any resolution. The very next day I called corporate again to let them know about the horrible customer service coming from this location. One of the managers from the corporate office volunteed to reimburse me for this disappointing experience with a company gift card I will be redeeming this at one of the other Dairy Queen locations that actually cares about the customer, and about growing their business by providing chemical free products and good old fashioned...
Read moreDidn't take my order at 9PM, Sunday 6/23, we came in at 8:55 with 2 other groups at the same time, we were the last group in line, they took the other 2 groups orders and when we got up to order it was 9PM and said sorry we are closed. I understand you close at 9. If you wouldn't have taken the other 2 groups that came in with us or if it was said from the moment we walked in that you can't provide the service, then it wouldn't of been such a big deal. How much longer would it have taken to make 3 blizzards. This is what happens when your staff doesn't understand that without business, there's no job or simply your staff doesn't care, maybe they had something more important to do on Sunday after 9 pm. Your staff lost an $18 sale for 5 min of their time, we went around the corner and saved half of what we would have spent at your place driving past your place on our way home and your staff was still there. Remember, you have competition, loyalty not valued. If you're losing customers, don't wonder too much of what may...
Read moreOmg...this place is amazing. Megan was our designated helper for our visit today since groupon sent us to this store. We never saw such a variety of food at a Dairy Queen before. We were overwhelmed at first until Megan jumped right in and explained to us most of the items on the menu in detail. Then we had a couple of dollars left over and she suggested getting a mini blizzard or anything we wanted but in a mini cup..ok..we decided on a cheesecake ice cream and there were 2 choices. Everything blended together or all the ingredients actually in this cup which was called the royal. Oh my God..there were chunks of graham crackers and actual fruit in this cup and tasted just like you scooped it out of the pan and put it in this cup. Best dessert ever. Thank you Megan for all your help. We will definitely be back..p.s. This store is very clean and enough places to sit down. Oh yeah..the chicken strips with gravy were...
