Dr. Henry H. Wang, MD — Local services in Las Vegas

The wait is always long, but completely worth it. Dr. Wang is an excellent internist that takes time with his patients. I don't have insurance that is accepted by his office, but pay out of pocket to make sure I'm well taken care of. A recent example - I went to 3 different doctors covered by my HMO and was told I had allergies. The quick, easy diagnosis - despite me telling them all I have never had allergies and I've had symptoms for months and it was getting worse. One did a blood test that confirmed no allergies and then put me on a breathing treatment! I went to Dr. Wang. He said that usually it is allergies, but we spoke and I explained the blood work results. He couldn't refer me to a specialist (being out of my network) so he told me exactly what to say and what tests I needed to get. 4th HMO doctor and I got my referral by doing what Dr. Wang said. Specialist found a severe nasal infection and said I could have gone blind. She also said to keep Dr. Wang because he "one of the good ones". That's worth every hour I've ever...

I called Dr. Wang’s office today, Dec. 16, at 9:08 am. I talked to one of his staff who answered the phone. Unfortunately, I failed to ask for her name. I reminded her of the patient’s telemed at 3:30 today. She informed me that they would get the vital signs. They should inform us that we should get the patient’s vital signs. Poor communication skills. I told her that the son of the patient was leaving at 4 pm today so Dr. Wang needed to start the telemed at 3:30 which was the telemed appointment. I told them that the patient’s son was leaving at 4 for his flight. So, the telemed should start at 3:39. They said Dr. Wang could not do that because he was busy with other patients. Then the son would miss his flight. The staff hanged up on me. She was rude and unprofessional. She should not be working there where it involves customer service. They get paid for doing their job well and good customer service but not for being rude and unhelpful. Dr. Wang should start replacing these bad...

Dr Wang is amazing. I have a few complex medical conditions and have been through complete rounds of different medical teams around the valley. Dr Wang is the ONLY dr who will listen and actually spend time with patients. He wants to get to the root cause of things and actually help. Yes, you can end up waiting a while, but that's because he cares. There are plenty of other Dr's who will assess you in under 5 mins, but you will not get the care from them...
