Freedom Park — Local services in Las Vegas

I HAD A BEAUTIFUL AFTERNOON OUT ALL ON MY OWN ....FREEDOM PARK WAS A NEW SITE FOR ME ... I HAD PREVIOUSLY VISITED LORENZI PARK SEVERAL DAYS PRIOR ... BOTH PARKS ARE VERY SPACIOUS WITH PLENTY OF SEATING, BARBEQUE GRILLS, BASKETBALL COURTS, SOCCER AREAS AND PLAYGROUNDS .... BUT FREEDOM PARK HAS SOMETHING THAT LORENZI PARK DOESN'T, AND VICE VERSA .... LORENZI PARK HAS A LAKE, AND POND WITH DUCKS AND GEESE, AS WELL THE ABILITY TO FISH ( PROVIDED YOU HAVE A FISHING LICENSE ) .... WHICH FREEDOM PARK DOESN'T HAVE ... IN TURN, FREEDOM PARK OFFERS A SKATEBOARD, SKATE PARK FOR YOUNGSTERS, WHICH LORENZI DOESN'T ...... BUT BOTH PARKS OFFER PLENTY OF LYING AROUND SPACE, WHERE YOU CAN BRING YOUR BLANKETS AND LAY OUT ON THE GRASS .....THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAD WITH LORENZI PARK WAS THE UNCLEANNESS OF THE MEN'S RESTROOM ! CAN'T SPEAK AS TO THE WOMEN'S RESTROOM ....BUT LORENZI PARK COULD CERTAINLY DO WITH BETTER MAINTENANCE OF THE MALE FACILITIES ! DIDN'T GET A CHANCE TO CHECK OUT THE MEN'S RESTROOM AT FREEDOM PARK, BECAUSE IT WAS CLOSED ... YET ALL IN ALL, THEY ARE BOTH BEAUTIFUL AREAS TO TAKE YOUR FAMILY. FRIENDS FOR A NICE AFTERNOON OUT AND ABOUT .... I HIGHLY RECOMMEND...

Not for families Update:2 I don't understand how people enjoy time with family. I was there in the morning before school with my kids and the homeless are just pulling down their pants and going to the bathroom next to trash cans. It really seems like mental health needs to be taken care of. Also teens skipping school smoking in the raiders helmet and under the playground Update:1 (They finally had someone out and opened up the bathrooms 6 days later. Swings are open looked new for a day) So they have the swings fenced off and for the past two days the bathrooms have been locked. Just saw someone going in the open for everyone to see. No signs saying why it might be closed. Not family friendly in the playground area at the moment. Hopefully it all...

Do not come here with your dogs! The dog park is surrounded by homeless people and aggressive not sure gang members but it’s not safe. I have a very large Labrador and she pulled me out of the dog area and dragged me back to the truck. I think she sent that it was not safe to protect me because I am a single woman find myself. Keep in mind this is 9 o’clock in the morning so I can’t even imagine how it feels 9 o’clock at night. Just beware and be safe. Oh plus the dog area is full...
