I love Dr Thomas he has been amazing these last 5 years. He’s compassionate and thorough in his care. He’s been so great and I would recommend him for anyone who needs a great oncologist or hematologist. Everyone I have had contact with has been great. Meredith, NP is also great and very thorough. MacKenzie Whatley, MA is awesome. She has drawn my blood twice now and got me on the first try both times. She took her time and I barely felt it. I have a lot of PTSD from getting multiple IV and lab draws. My veins are not great and they don’t cooperate so I have a lot of anxiety and fear when it comes to getting stuck. People need to know this. I am not at this clinic now thankfully but they keep deleting my comment from their Facebook page, not wanting others to know the truth. Terrible experience. I would not be alive if I hadn't left the area 2 years ago and got away from this practice. I would recommend anyone to please choose another practice. Demand imaging, tests. Be an advocate for your own care. Dr. Thomas did not listen to me knowing that I was a breast cancer survivor. He wouldn't order any tests when I complained of issues in the same under arm where my original cancer was, turns out I left the area thankfully and found out I had metastatic breast cancer. #universitycancer...

I have been receiving treatment from Dr Thomas, his PA, Meredith Staton, and the entire Lavonia UC&BC Team for several years. I have yet to encounter anything that could, even the slightest bit, be considered negative! I am always treated with the greatest degree of professionalism and consideration. Every task they perform is done with the utmost efficiency, combined with friendliness and concern for the patient.
