The Children's Place — Local services in Lawrence Township

I went to Children's place to purchase clothes for my grandson. I love Children's Place prices and their clothes consist of the greatest quality. I entered the store hearing very loud talk coming from the co-workers. They talked about everything under the sun and it was very unprofessional and inappropriate. I then looked around the store looking for the manager, but the manager seemed to be the ring leader. I could not believe that the manager was holding a conversation while she was ringing people up at the register. A customer in front of me was a little unhappy because of the stores return policy, that I also clearly must not have been informed about. The customer stormed out of the store clearly frustrated and upset that she couldn't return the items that she had, even though she had a receipt and the clothes still had tags on them. Instead of the manager being professional, she ridiculed the lady in front of her employees and the customers that were in the store. Then yelled at the lady "Bye"! I really thought I was being pranked. I could not believe that this level of unprofessionalism was taking place in a store and by the manager or supervisor of the store that should have known better. Children's Place has been out for years, but if this is the type of people we have to deal with upon shopping at their store, they should really put their employees through some sort of customer service etiquette training. I will not be going back to that...

I was in the Children's Place on a Saturday and the help I received from Mickey was hands down amazing. I was shopping for my Grandbaby and wasn't sure exactly what size clothes I should get. I am a new Grandmother and my grandbaby is out of state. She helped me pick out so many cute outfits. My daughter in law said I did such a good job. I owe it all to her for being such a good help. Then we had Kara come to the rescue with the shoes. They made it a complete outfit. I wish I could take those two girls shopping with me for my clothes. I went to the Quakerbridge Mall specifically to pick up gift cards from this store for a birthday party I was on the way to. Google said they were open until 9pm, I came at 4:30pm on Tuesday 7/23. No note on the door, doors are locked. I understand that things happen sometimes, but at least leave a note on the door! Lights were on, and two store associates made eye contact with me on their way to the back room. I waited about 5 minutes, and then left to figure out a plan B for the gift I’d be bringing. I called in to corporate and was told “Oh, well it says they’re open until 9pm today”. I am beyond frustrated and will not be supporting this company any longer if this behavior is...
